My top ten Art Impressions cards of 2022!

 Hello AI Fans!!!

I can't help but start this post by saying how grateful I am to Art Impressions for having me back on the team this year! It is such a tremendous joy to work with the Krebbs family and this amazing Design Team! I had so much fun reflecting back on the year and picking out 10 of my favorite cards. I hope you grab a warm beverage and join me on this trip down memory lane. All the details for each card can be obtained by looking at the original post that is linked with each card. 

These are in no particular order of my favorites. :) First up is Well Duh!!  LOL! I really like the soft pink colors and gentle pattern of the paper used in this card. And of course Bonnie's amazing line of AI People!! You can see the original post HERE. 

My next choice is At Least I wore a Cardigan! I giggle every time I see this card! There were Tik Tok videos out there where groups of friends got together and the wives played a prank on their hubbies by dressing them all in the same shirt for when they met up. So as I was perusing through my stamp collection, I saw the Old Guys Club Set and immediately thought of the challenge. The cranky look on their faces couldn't have been any more perfect!! LOL! Next up is Best Day Ever! This card features SC0795 Road Trip!  Who doesn't love taking road trips with their girlfriends! Nobody illustrates that better than Bonnie Krebbs!!! I made this an interactive card so the card actually travels down the road when you pull the tab!! I love it!!! You can see the original post with a little video of it working right HERE. 

My next pick features #5400 Baby Critters and it's another interactive card. I do really love interactive cards! It has a pull tab on the front, and when you pull it, the picture magically changes to another! You can see the original post HERE. 

Next up I'm going to show you a fall card using the AI Girlfriends.  It is still one of my very favorite lines of stamps from Art Impressions. You can see the original post HERE.

The Joy of Christmas featuring Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans!

I love this card I'm showing you today.  This snowman exudes such joy that I can't help but smile every time I see him.  Bonnie is so talented in conveying emotions through her wonderful characters! This adorable cutie pie and sentiment are from #5041 Snow Friend Set. I can't help it, I adore him!!  I stamped him onto some Cryogen White paper which has a little sparkle to it, and then colored him with Copic markers. I cut the image out using the #5062 Rounded Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Die Set. For the mat behind him, I cut out another piece the same size in the gray paper and just offset it from the image panel. To balance out the card, I used three different beautiful snowflakes from 5353 Large Snowflake Dies and topped them off with some Diamond Stickles.

Christmas Magic with a wintry night sky featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

I've got a fun card to show you today that features the AI Rides stamp set ##5457 Christmas Truck Set.  Who doesn't love an old red pickup truck??!! Especially at Christmas time! :)  I wanted to put it into a frosty forest with an evening sky and make it full of presents! It fits right into the current challenge going on over at the Art Impressions Blog! The cute little Santa is the perfect size for the truck! He's from the Holiday Mansion Line of stamps #4927 HM Accessory Set.  Think how cute it would be for a birthday card using the clown from #5907 HM Birthday Set!! Anyway, I also used #5566 Christmas Sentiments and stamped it onto the fishtail banner from #5543 Journal Template Die Set. I colored the sky with my copics using some masking paper for the moon.

Well duh!! Featuring Art Impressions Crown Set

There's a new challenge over at the Art Impressions Blog that is asking for diamonds and/or pearls. How fun is that??!!  The card I'm showing you today fits right in with that challenge. I used #4370 Crown Set. I stamped her onto Cryogen white paper and then colored her up with Copic markers. She's a fun one to color and she just looks like she'd be dripping in diamonds and pearls, doesn't she?

Windows to the World from Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

Can I have all the Windows to the World fans raise their arms? Woah! I felt that gush of wind all the way in Reno!  So if you have a collection of Windows to the World stamps and are looking for something else to do with them, you can stop right here.  Bonnie came out with a Shadow Box Window Die Set that works with every single Windows to the World stamp you have! Every single one! I don't know about you, but I absolutely love shadow boxes!! So I took one of my WTTW stamps that I had to have cause it reminds me of my little Shih Tzu, M4584 Day Spent WTTW.  I stamped it onto Cyrogen White paper and colored it with Copic markers. Then used the Shadow Box Window Die Set to cut it out.  It actually cuts out the stamp leaving the sentiment surrounding the image behind. I love how it looks!!  There are new stamp sets that go with the new die set that contains an extra image, but it also works with all your old WTTW images too!

Happy Halloween featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

Happy Halloween!! I have one more Halloween card for you today! Have you heard that Art Impressions has come out with two brand new paper packs??!! And the papers are gorgeous! There is #5606 Harvest Journal Paper Pack, and the one I used here, #5605 Halloween Journal Paper Pack. Along with the adorable #5506 Peek-a-Boo Set and Halloween paper pack, I used #5462 Spider Web Dies,  #5456 Spooky Wagon Set for the adorable spider and the Booo sign, #5133 Flag Double Stitched Dies,  And #5543 Journal Template Die Set for the scalloped edge mat under the star paper. This card was also created for the current masking or stencil challenge that is going on over at Art Impressions Blog! When you use the masking technique, It's always so fun when you pull the masks off to see the finished scene! I stamped all the images onto Cryogen White paper and colored them with Copic markers. I used my Viva Decor Pearl Pens to finish the spider webs off with just a small dot at the ends of the points. I used black, purple, and orange. 

I wanted the spider to look like he was dropping down from the web above, so just used my black Copic Multiliner to draw a line from him up to the top of the panel. 

Here is the stamped images on top of the masked off jack-o-lanterns and Booo sign.

Well Fall is definitely in the air here in Reno! I just came back inside from filling my bird feeders and thank goodness the fireplace was going! BRRR!!! LOL! We are getting a high of 50 degrees today, and it's a little cloudy too. So I just had to feature these beautiful Girlfriends all dressed up in their fall clothes. I used #5516 Friends Forever Set from the AI Girlfriends line of stamps. I stamped them onto Cryogen White paper and colored them up with Copic markers. Hello Fall!!

Art Impressions Hats Off Mr Set

Hello AI Fans!

My card today is for the Let's Hear it for the Boys challenge! I will admit I am terrible at masculine cards! I'm too big of a buttons and bows girl! LOL! So I kept my card super simple and just used the adorable #5406 Mr. Set from the Hats Off line at Art Impressions. I loved that Trapper hat and just had to use it with the Stay Cool sentiment! I added a strip of die cut grass and used a cloud stencil for the sky. Can't get much simpler than that!

Art Impressions Baby Critters and Magic Picture Changer

I hope you're having a wonderful start to your week. And to our neighbors to the north, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My card today features those adorable #5400 Baby Critters! This time I used them with a Magic Picture Changer die set. When you pull up on the tab, the adorable elephant is replaced with the Happy Birthday sentiment that is in the set! I love interactive cards!!
