Papertake Weekly - It's time for some FUN!!

Wow, can you believe how fast the weeks are flying by??!!  It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and this week Dawny's new challenge is FUN, FUN, FUN! You can interpret that any way you want to.  We are sponsored this week by the fab folks over at the Hobby House!

I took a class last weekend at Scrapbook Paradise, and I had so much fun putting this frame together that I HAD to use it for this challenge!!  This was designed and taught by Darlene. LOVE her work!! This frame is amazing and I can't wait to see it with a picture in it! Unfortunately, this picture of it does NOT do this justice. It's really washed out. This is when I wish I'd gotten Ott floor lamps instead of all desk lamps.

Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all the FUN creations by the DT, and then we'd love it if you'd play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to visit today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

There is an option of making a Halloween treat holder, so that's what I did this week! It just so happens that this adorable cut file is on sale over at My Scrap Chick. FUN!!  I downsized mine so I could fit two of the treat boxes on a 12x12 piece of cardstock. Isn't he a cutie??

Peek a Boo card for Papertake Weekly

Hey everyone!  I hope you've enjoyed your weekend and are having n awesome start to the week! It's the start of a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and this week is Things with Wings. Interpret it how you may! We are sponsored this week by the fabulous folks over at The Paper Nest Dolls!  So once I saw the adorable Peek-a-Boo card over on my amazingly talented friend Norma's blog, I knew I had to give it a go.  I actually made TWO of them this weekend. LOL! And they won't be the last ones, that's for sure! This one is the 5 1/2" size. She also has a tutorial for a 6" size that will hold a slightly larger stamp. I really wanted to use some Kraftin' Kimmie images but they were just too big for either size card. :(

So here's the front....

And here's the inside once you open it up...

Please be sure to pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all the gorgeous creations by the Design Team, and then we'd love it if you'd play along with the challenge! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Build it up!!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you're having an awesome start to your week! I'm back home now from our holiday and have pretty much gotten back into the swing of things! It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and this week Dawny says "Build it up!!"  No flat cards this week! :)  Let's see those layers and dimension!  We are sponsored by our Mary and Andrea over at The Ribbon Girl! Lots and lots of yummy goodness to choose from, so be sure and play along for a chance to win!

For my card today, I'm featuring a super fun image from Art Impressions, Hog Wild Birthday #4472.  I put her on an action Wobble so she wiggles!  I must say, as much as I love it, I'm really getting rather sick of using this paper. LOL! But I bought WAY too much for the classes I taught at Yosemite,  so I'm trying to use it up. I think it's become a hopeless cause, so I'm thinking I will be putting it away until next summer. :)

Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to see all the amazing creations by my teamies, and then we'd really love it if you'd grab your paper, glue, and lots of pop dots to play along with our challenge this week! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and hope to see you again soon!! Hugs!!

Copic markers used:  E50, E51, E53, R81, R83, R22, R24, R27, B00, B02, B04, Y32, Y35, Y38, E23, E25, and touch of C3.  I used pink chalk for her rosy cheeks.
