Little Darlings Rubber Stamps - It's a celebration!

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful week and are able to slow down and enjoy the holidays. It's my turn to post my card over at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Design Team Inspirations. I chose to work with this gorgeous image of Candy Canes from the Saturated Canary line of rubber stamps at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps!

Isn't she gorgeous??!! She's colored with Copic markers on a frame cut with the Silhouette Cameo. The papers are some of my favorite from Nitwit Collections and they're matted with Bazzill cardstock. The poinsettia was cut using a Spellbinders die and enhanced with some Stickles. The ribbons are from my stash and I added a bunch of pearls with the Viva Decor pearl pen.

So have you heard the news from Angie??!!! She has a goal of reaching 1000 members at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Facebook page by the end of the day Dec 31st, 2012! If she attains that goal (we're currently over 800) then Angie is going to give away an ENTIRE set of stamps from the CHA Winter 2013 show to one random member of the group! OMG! Tell all your Facebook friends to please get over there! Who wouldn't love to start the new year out that way??!!!!!

That's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me. May you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and may the new year bring many new joys to you and your loved ones. Thank your for another wonderful year!! Hugs! Sharon

Little Darlings and Saturated Canary

Hey everyone! I'm back with my creation as a GDT for the challenge over at Little Darlings Inspiration Blog, and the theme this month is Die/Dye It! I chose Die It, and here's what I made for it

I used Ellie's Birthday from the Saturated Canary line of stamps available at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps! She's sooooo stinkin' CA-UTE!!! I stamped her onto Cryogen White and colored her with Copic markers. I distressed this poor card to within an inch of its poor little life! HAHA! I used my brand new toy the Distrezz-It-All which I got for a really good price from Overstock.com. The papers are Simple Stories matted with Bazzill cardstock.

That awesome circular stamp is a Birthday Trinket from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the ribbon and button from my stash.  Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and until next time!! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Sketch Free For All!!

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly. Since it's the last Tuesday of the month, it's sketch week! I adore sketch week cause Dawny takes all the guessing out of the process. And this week is awesome cause you get to use your choice of any Papertake Weekly sketch! How awesome is that?? We are being sponsored by the fabulous Heidi from Simon Says Stamp. So pick your favorite PTW sketch and let the paper bits fly!  Here's what I came up with for you today. First, here's one of my many favorite sketches by Dawny

And this is what I did with it

I used a fun Saturated Canary digital image and colored it with Copic markers. The papers are Authentique Carefree matted with Bazzill cardstock. The flowers and corners are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is May Arts.

Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out my teamies gorgeous creations. And then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us!

This is also for Saturated Canary's current Challenge #24.

PaperPlay Challenge - Mother's Day or Female relative

Hey everyone! Happy Friday Eve!! It's time for a new challenge at PaperPlay Challenges and this week, the challenge is to make something for Mother's Day or a female relative.  Our sponsor this week is Crafty Cutting, and they're offering up an awesome chipboard kit!!  So have you seen the fabulous Saturated Canary images? They're by the very talented Krista Smith, and they're just so precious! This is my first time coloring them, and I've fallen in love.  Her name is Kitty and I think she's purrrrfectly adorable!

I kept it very simple.  Kitty is printed on Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copics. I used cool grays and RV90's. The papers are digi as well from Pink Petticoat matted with Bazzill cardstock. Added some buttons, a doily from Cheery Lynn Designs, and ribbon from my stash and that was pretty much it. Oh yeah...I stuck a little pink netting in there too.

Please make sure to visit PaperPlay Challenges to see all the other gorgeous creations from the rest of the design team, and then we hope you join us in the challenge. Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
