Hey eveyone! Oh my goodness, it's already June 1st!!!! I can't believe how quickly the time goes anymore. Seems like I blink my eyes and the month is over. Kinda scary when ya think about it, ya know?? Anyway, it's time for a new challenge from the Magnolia-licious Design team, and this month our hostess is my friend and wonderfully talented Mindy! And Mindy has challenged us to use water in our project. So here is what I've come up with for the challenge. Now I have to tell you, as soon as I saw this adorable new Tilda, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with her! Luckily the stamp I wanted to use her with was in the correct direction, and it worked like a charm!
I kept the card very simple, first because the images were so large that I really didn't have any room to add a bunch of embellishments, and really I didn't want to detract from the scene at all. I wanted it to be all about Tilda reeling in poor Edwin. (Is it my imagination or does the look on his face say "oh crap!!") LMBO! Anyway, I used #269 Hooked Tilda along with Dangling Sea Edwin and #600 Boat. They're stamped with Memento ink onto X-Press It cardstock and then colored with Copic markers. Little Edwin is hanging from an anchor in his normal state, so I just fussy cut him out and away from the anchor. The center cloud is a Magnolia Doohickey die, #30 Flag and Cloud.
Please pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites to check out all my DT Sisters fabulous projects, and to see how you can join us in the challenge for a chance to win an awesome prize from Diana at Magnolia-licious! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back here again tomorrow for a new Kraftin' Kimmie challenge! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly with Magnolia-Licious!!
Hi everyone!! I've got two new challenges today, so decided to roll them all into one! Since it's Tuesday, it's time for a new Papertake Weekly Challenge. And because it's the first of the month, it's time for a new Design Team Challenge at Magnolia-licious! It's ANYTHING Goes at Papertake Weekly, and my friend and awesomely talented Suzanne is our hostess for Magnolia-licious. She is asking for a Summer Theme, and there's a twist of using orange, blue, and yellow! We're sponosred at Papertake Weekly by the wonderful Lili of the Valley. And as always, Diana at Magnolia-Licious is offering up a wonderful prize if you join the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites! Here's what I've created for you today
I used the adorable #212 Honeebee Tilda with the awesome Meadow Daisy. They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The papers are ancient and were perfect for Suzanne's challenge! LOL! They're Chloe's Closet from Making Memories, and they're matted with Bazzill cardstock. I also used some fabulous dies which are also available at Magnolia-licious. The flourish is a Magnolia Doohickey die, and the butterfly is from Memory Box. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Please be sure and pop over to both Papertake Weekly AND Magnolia-licioius Highlites to see my teamies gorgeous creations, and then we'd love it if you'd play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

It's time for a new Magnolia - licious challenge!!
Good morning, everyone! Happy April 1st! Hope you're not having too many April 1st jokes played on you. :) With it being the first of the month, that means it's time for a new Design Team Challenge from Magnolia-licious! This month our challenge is from our awesome Ruby, and it is to make baby themed projects/gift sets. You can read all about it and see all our projects over at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog. Here's what I came up with for you today
I used the Cricut Expression with the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge for the box and then had some fun decorating it. with #201 Baby Tilda from the new Princes and Princesses Collection from Magnolia-licious!! I simply adore this enire collection!! I did alter her just a tad by cutting off the butterfly and replacing it with a little "welcome" sign. I sat precious little Baby Tilda on this FABULOUS #542 Sweet Moon! I am going to be using this moon a LOT, LOL! I LOOOOOVE it!!! The images are stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers (listed below). I then fussy cut them out and popped them up from some gorgeous Graphic 45 paper.
I used a Martha Stewart PAP set with some Bazzill cardstock. There's lots of machine stitching and the only other thing I added are some pearls made with the Viva Decor Pearl Pen. Very simple, but I do like how it turned out.
Magnolia-licious is THE place to go for all your Magnolia purchases!! Diana carries an extensive stock of Magnolia images with the best prices and the best service!! Not only do you receive an automatic discount, but she also gives you in store credit for every purchase!! You can get not only the normal sized images, but Diana is your source for the Mini-Magnolias as well!! She also carries an awesome array of gorgeous dies too!!
Copics used are clothing: YG61, 63, C3, T1, 2, blender pen; hair: E51, 53, 57, 31, 33; Crown: Y32, 35; Moon: E51, 53, Y32, E33, R20; skin: E13, 11, 01, 00, with a touch of R20 on her knees. I used chalk on her cheeks.
My plans are to stamp and color the moon on a onsie to put in the box. I just couldn't get it done by today. So that's my baby gift set for you today. Please be sure to pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites to check out my teamies gorgeous creations. And then we'd love it if you'd join us in the challenge. Magnolia-licious Shabby Chic
Wow! I'm finally posting my project for the Magnolia-licious DT challenge for February! This month, our fabulous and talented hostess is Ms Patti Jo, and she is asking us to go Shabby Chic! I've been wanting to try and make a little treat container for Valentine's Day, so I took this opportunity to challenge myself. Here's what I came up with
I tried really hard to get a decent picture of this, but to no avail. It look so much cuter in person than it does in the pic. The colors are much better. I used the absolutely adorable image of Tilda with Cherry Pie from the Sweet Crazy Love 2012 Collection at Magnolia-licious. I LOVE her!!! She's definitely shabby chic! LOL! She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper, colored her with Copic markers, and then fussy cut her out. The papers are from my scrap bin. The hearts are cut out with Nesties, and then the strip attaching them together was done using my Scor Pal.
The sentiment is a mini Magnolia, and I think it works perfectly with her. Doesn't she look like she's totally lost in thought? Those pins were put together with some beads I have, and I stuck them through some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts that were enhanced with some Diamond Stickles. Please be sure and visit Magnolia-licious Hightlites blog to see all the gorgeous creations by my DT sisters, and then we'd love it if you'd join us in the challenge for a chance to win a fabulous prize from Diana at Magnolia-licious. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again tomorrow for another Papertake Weekly challenge. Hugs!

Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love
Have you seen the new Sweet Crazy Love Collection over at Magnolia-licious?? Oh my goodness, I think I have to have every single one of them! LOL! They're ADORABLE!! It's time for a new challenge over at PaperPlay Challenges and they're sponsored this week by Destination Art. You could win a $25.00 AUD store voucher! This is also for the Magnolia-licious Design Team Challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites. The amazingly talented Cheryl gave us a challenge of "anything goes".
I used this adorable #282 Tilda Sending Love Letters. It looks like she's sold out right now, but it wouldn't surprise me if Diana doesn't have more of her on the way. She' stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. Her clothes are colored with RV91, 93, and 95, her skin is E13, 11, 01, and 00. I used T grays for the whites and I don't remember what colors I used on her hair.
DP's are My Mind's Eye Blush matted with Bazzill cardstock. Tilda is cut out with oval Nesties and there's lots of machine stitching. The butterfly was cut out using the Cricut. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is May Arts silk. I also used a black pearl pen.
Please be sure and visit both PaperPlay Challenges and Magnolia-licious Highlites, and join us in the challenges for a chance to win! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today. Sneak Peeks for Kraftin Kimmie starts in just a few hours (4am Pacific), so hope to see you back again for that! Hugs!!

Magnolia-licious October Sketch challenge
Hey everyone! Can you believe it's already October??!! WOW! I'm amazed at how fast this year is passing us by! It's time for a new Design Team sketch challenge over at Magnolia-licious Highlites, and this month, our hostest with the mostest is the fabulous Maureen! She has supplied us with an awesome sketch and we also must use orange and stay in the theme of October/fall. Here is what I've come up with.
October is a huge month for birthdays, so you will be seeing quite a few of them from me this month. For this one, I used #340 Fairy Dust Tilda from the Fairytale Collection. She's available right now over at Magnolia-licious! Diana has the BEST collection of Magnolia stamps available in North America. And on top of that, she has awesome service and prices!! She's got a special deal going on right now for all orders over $50.00. When you check out with a total of $50.00 (before shipping), use the code benefit8, and it will give you an 8% discount!! WOOHOO!! Please be sure and check out her store. I stamped Fairydust Tilda with Memento ink onto X-Press It card and colored her with Copic markers. I also used the Magnolia Doohickey Antique Lace die for the horizontal strip.
The DP, ribbon, and buttons were all a gift from my wonderful friend and adopted sis, Regina. Thanks Regina!! The leaf was cut with the Cricut Expression using my newest cartridge The Flower Shoppe, and I added some of the fabulous lace I found when I was visiting my sis, Peggy, in Illinois. The octagon was also cut with the Expression using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge. The small brown maple leaf that is on top of the larger leaf is from a new EK Success border punch. The Happy Birthday stamp is one I've had for ages and the original packaging is gone. I have no idea of the maker. Sorry.
All the layers are machine stitched and the twine I used is from The Twinery. So that's it for my card. Please be sure and visit Magnolia-licious Highlites to see all the amazing projects from talented Design Team! Then we'd really love it if you'd grab your oragne paper and glue to play along with us. Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Magnolia-licious DT challenge - fall colors or back to school
Hi everyone! There's a few days left for you to enter the Magnolia-licious Design Team Challenge over at Magnolia-licious Highlites! It's to make either a fall or back to school project using the rich colors of fall. This is what I came up with.
I used the Fall Background from the 2008 Fall Collection, Tilda with wood basket from the 2008 Winter Collection, and #642 Heart fence which I fussy cut twice and popped it up for dimension. The background and Tilda are not in stock at Magnolia-licious right now. If you're interested, please talk to Diana and I know she'll do her best to try and help you. The images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It card and then colored with Copic markers. The papers are from Nitwit Collections, and I used a small flower punch centered with my Pearl Pen. The swirl die is from Cheery Lynn Designs.
Added a bow made with some silk ribbon and a Maple leaf charm and called her done! We'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us for the challenge! The prize is three images of your choice from Magnolia-licious!! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Magnolia-licious DT challenge for August - Paper only and blog hop winner!
Hi evreyone! Are you having a good week? I sure hope you're staying nice and cool and being safe if you're in the areas of extreme temperatures right now! I know how bad you want to go our and mow the yard and trim the bushes, but maybe you really should just stay indoors and craft in the air conditioning. I know...I know... it's a big sacrifice, but try not to get too upset about it. Ok? LOL! Oh! I almost forgot to mention that if you keep going to the bottom of this post, I have the winner to the Magnolia-licious blog hop listed below. ...but first things first!
On the first of the month, our Magnolia-licious Design Team comes out with a new challenge, and this month our very own Queen Diana chose it! She is asking for PAPER ONLY! Oh my gosh....I can't put my silk bow or flowers on my card? What am I going to do? LOL! I will say that before I even realized it, I sewed on my card. YIKES!! Didn't even realize it until Barb said something. LOL! Anyway, lemonade is my very favorite drink in the summer. I could drink gallons of it (made with nutrasweet of course). So I wanted to do a lemonade card having Tilda in a lemonade stand. This is what I came up with.
I haven't done this in a while, but none of the images I used are in stock right now over at Magnolia-licious. UGH! That's what I get for not checking! I used an Easter Tilda with a basket of eggs and just colored them yellow to represent lemons. What do you think? Is it believable? Nobody here at the house new they were eggs until I told them, so I think I might have pulled it off. But I'll wait to hear what you guys think. The building with the stand is also from Magnolia-licious, but I can't find it right now. If you're interested, please contact Diana and I'm sure she'd be happy to let you know if she has any on order. The papers are from Nitwit Collection matted with cardstock from PTI. The flowers are from a rolled rose die. It's the first time I've used it and I could use with a little practice. LOL! The leaves are a rose leaf Doohickey die available at Magnolia-licious. I cut the glass of lemonade with my Cricut and Gypsy and the doily was cut using a die from Cheery Lynn Designs.
Please be sure to hop over to the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog to see how you can participate in the challenge for a chance to win a fabulous prize from Diana!
Now for the PRIZE for the Magnolia-licious blog hop....here we go
which is....
Congrats DQ! Please contact me with your email address so I can send you the gift certificate!! Since I took so long to draw for the prize, I'll give you until midnight Pacific time Sunday to contact me. If I don't hear from you by then, I will pull a new winner.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Magnolia-licious monthly DT sketch challenge and Papertake Weekly - anything goes!
Hi everyone! Gosh it's been forever since I've posted! Things have been crazy around here and I've been lost in all the chaos! LOL! A couple more weeks, and then things should start to get back to normal. With it being the first of the month, it's time for a new sketch challenge from the Magnolia-licious Design Team. This month, the challenge was picked by Mindy, and she gave us an awesome sketch to follow! With it being Tuesday, it's also time for a new Papertake Weekly challenge which I totally missed last week! I was so bummed cause it's the very first week I've ever missed our challenge. But I'm back raring to go this week. And it's an "anything goes" challenge (with an option of using buttons) which is sponsored by Lili of the Valley! For my card this week, I used one of my very favorite new Tilda images, #3032 Watercan Tilda from the new Sweet Rainbow collection which is available right now over at Magnolia-licious! I also used the tulip pathway image which I can't find in stock right now. Please contact Diana at Magnolia-licious if you're interested in purchasing one.
I colored them with Copic markers and fussy cut Tilda out and popped her up for dimension. The circle sentiement is from Lili of the Valley and is cut out using Nesties. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the DP is Basic Grey which is matted with Bazzill cardstock. Plenty of machine stitching adds to the card, and I also used some crocheted lace and May Arts silk ribbon all which came from Stamp and Create. So that's it for me today! Thanks so much for popping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

May Magnolia-licious DT Sketch challenge for Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes!
Good morning and Happy Tuesday! I love it when Mondays are done and over with! LOL! And one of the reasons for that is Tuesday brings a new challenge from Papertake Weekly! Now this month I combined my Papertake challenge with our montthly Magnolia DT sketch challenge. This month, the sketch is by our extremely talented and head designer Suzanne Dean!! This was a great sketch to work with Suzanne, Thank you!! Since this is the first Tuesday of the month over at Papertake Weekly, that means the new challenge is "anything goes" ! This months option is to use something round on your card (which was also included in Suzannne's sketch). It also means that we're being sponsored by the fabulous Lili of the Valley at Papertake Weekly!
For my card today, I used this adorable #214 King Tilda from the You Are So Special collection at Magnolia-licious. I don't see her in stock right now, but if you contact Diana, she'll be happy to help you out. I also used #594 Balloon Background and #427 Lazy Summer Flowers! They're all colored with Copic markers. For the paper lace, I used a Magnolia Doohickey Die.
The cardstock is Bazzill and the DP is from an old DCWV stack Nana's Kitchen. The ticket stamp and die cut is from Whimsy and are also colored with Copic markers to match the card. That beautiful lace on the horizontal piece is by Prima which I got from Bunny Zoes Crafts, and the ribbon is May Arts Silk which I purchased from Stamp and Create. For the circle portion of the card, I used a fabulous doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs! LOVE them!! And the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts of course.
You can see there's lots of dimension on this card, simply cause I love dimension. So instead of masking, I usually like cutting out my images and layering them up in the scene to give that nice depth. That background paper....well......I tried to used Cabio's fabulous tutorial for clouds but I failed miserably. LOL! I think I need to practice a little with that one. Cabio's always looks so perfect and makes it look so easy! :) I'm glad most of mine was covered up so you really couldn't tell just how bad it really is. LOL! And for those of you that have asked....
Nothing super special on the inside, but decorated nicely to complement the outside. So that's it for me today! Please be sure to pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites to see all the amazing creations by the design team for Suzanne's sketch. And also please be sure to visit Papertake Weekly to see all the gorgeous work by the design team over there! And then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and join in the challenges with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!!
hugs!

Magnolia-licious Design Team Sketch challenge for April
WOOHOO!! Happy Friday and happy April 1st!!! So are you an April Fool prankster? I like to play small little pranks, especially to the grandkids. LOL! With today being the first of the month, it's time for a new challenge from the Magnolia-licious Design team, and this month is was my turn to host. I decided to challenge you to make a project using Edwin and Tilda together. Cause after all, Edwin and Tilda are truly Together Forevah!!! For my card today, I used #151 Heartbreaker Edwin (isn't he just the cutest little thing??) along with #341 Mini Tilda Blowing Hearts for the thought bubble, and #450 log.
They're all colored with Copic markers. Edwin and the log are fussy cut and popped up from the Nestabilities circle. The grass is just hand drawn in. A Martha Stewart border punch was used for the heart strip, the twine is from PTI, and I got those cool Tim Holtz pins that the charm is attached to at my LSS. The other stick pin I've had for forever and I can't remember who they're made by. The packaging is long gone. That little tag was cut using a Cuttlebug set of dies and I just ran it through my printer after cutting it. It's attached to the twin with just a simple safety pin. The pearls in the corners were colored with a Copic marker.
Please be sure to visit Magnolia-licious Highlites to see my DT sisters creations using both Tilda and Edwin. And don't forget about the huge Magnolia-licious Easter/Spring Extravaganza challenge! The prizes are unbelievable! There are three different categories and each category is offering a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place price. This is VOTING contest, and you're only allowed one entry per category, so be sure to do your best work! First place prize in each category is a $150.00 shopping spree at Magnolia-licious! WOW! If that's not an eye opener, then I don't know what would be! All the details are on the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog. But don't put it off, cause you only have until April 19th (exact times are in the contest details) and then the contest closes for voting. So what are you waiting for! Get those Easter/Spring projects going! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Magnolia-licious DT sketch challenge for March
Hi everybody! I'm a little tardy posting my sketch challenge for the Magnolia-licious Design Team sketch challenge for March. This month, the hostess with the mostest is the wickedly talented Janny! She has given us a recipe challenge with a twist! It's to make a frame card/project using at least one each of the following items:
Magnolia image
ribbon/trim
flower
pearls/bling
Fun stuff, huh?? I used one of those cheap frames available at Michael's and painted it white. I then covered it in Magnolia paper from the Bon Voyage collection from Magnolia-licious. I had a lot of fun making this one. :)
I used various cuts from my Cricut to set the scene for this adorable Tilda from the brand new Butterfly Dreams collection. Some of these stamps are still in stock and available over at Magnolia-licious, so hurry over to grab them now!! Along with her, I used #406 Little Birds, #421 sun, and the swirls are a Magnolia Doohickey die.
Tilda is colored with Copic markers and I cut the basket out of her hand cause I just didn't think she needed it in this little scene. The fence, tree, and flowers were all cut with my Cricut Expression using my Gypsy. The only cartridge that I can remember is the Create a Critter. Sorry, if you need to know where the tree and fence came from, just send me an email and I'll figure it out for you. I sure hope you pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites to check out all the details, see the rest of the talented DT creations, and then join us in the challenge! Thnks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon!! Hugs!!

Magnolia-licious DT sketch challenge for February
Can you believe that January is already gone?? What the heck!! It seems like Christmas was just last weekend! With a brand new month, comes a brand new Design Team challenge from Magnolia-licious. This month, our wonderful hostess with the mostest is Ms Patti Jo! Patti Jo asked us to use pink, white, silver, hearts, and you can use green for flowers. Isn't that the most perfect challenge for February??!! Awesome choice Patti Jo! You've got to check out the rest of the fabulous creations by the Design Team over at the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog! They're truly gorgeous!!
I used some Nestabilities for the frame that Tilda is sitting in, as well as the hearts. A Martha Stewart border punch created the hearts border along the horizontal piece, and I dry embossed the piece of cardstock.
the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flat backed pearls are from Kaiser. Stickles are all over this card. LOL!
So that's it for me today! Please be sure and visit Magnolia-licious Highlites to see the rest of the gorgeous creations from the design team. There will be more to come as well. The majority of the DT have been at CHA (I'll be there next year YAY!!!) Hope you will join us in the challenge! thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! If you're being affected by the nasty winter storm that is sweeping it's way across our nation, please stay safe and warm! Hugs!

Happy New Year!!
A very Happy New Year to you my friends!! With it being the 1st, it's time for a new Magnolia-licious DT sketch challenge, and this month, the challenge comes from my unbelievably talented design team sister, Cheryl!! She has issued us a recipe challenge. Here's the recipe:
4 flowers, three different DP, two different Magnolia stamps, and one ribbon. For complete details, please visit the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog.
For my card I used this adorable image , #334 Brother and Sister from the Autumn 2010 collection at Magnolia-licious. But it's not in stock right now. Please contact Diana if you're interested in it. For my second image, I used this beautiful Magnolia heart that I stamped the word hugs into. I can't find it either (sigh). Looks like I'm back up to my old antics about using stamps that are out of stock. Some things never change. Sorry about that!! Anyway, if you're interested, please contact Diana at Magnolia-licious. She'll be happy to help you!

I colored them with Copic markers and Tilda and Edwin were cut out with Nesties. I fussy cut the heart. Everything is popped up off the card base for dimension, and the main panels are machine stitched. I used Martha Stewart punches for the heart border and the flower leaves, and the papers are from Nitwit Collections. The ribbon is May Arts 100% silk (I love this stuff in case you didn't know) The flowers are from Wild Orchid.
Please be sure and visit Magnolia-licious Highlites blog for all the details for the challenge, and to see all the fabulous creations by the rest of the amazing design team. Magnolia-licious Design Team Sketch Challenge for December
Hi everyone and welcome to the month of December!!! Can you believe how quick this year is going? It just goes faster and faster every year! Anyway, since it's the first of the month, it's time for a new sketch challenge from the Magnolia-licious Design Team. This month, our challenge was chosen by the fabulous Queen Diana, and she asked us to create a frame using Magnolia stamps and words. Unfortunately, I didn't remember the part about it being Winter or Christmas themed, but I hope it helps that I used three stamps from the new Merry Christmas 2010 collection. You can click on the pics to get a better view.
I bought the frame at Michaels and then painted it white using acrylic paint. I then cut the letters out with my Cricut Expression with red Bazzill cardstock with a Black Bazzill cardstock shadow. I used #3070 Sitting Angel Tilda on the left, #3078 Tilda Wants a Hug on the right, and #3081 Tilda With Hanging Heart for top center. I think it's quite simple and kind of plain, but I still like the way it looks and think it would make a cute frame to welcome someone into a kitchen or even a shop. All of the images are currently available right now over at Magnolia-licious!
Please be sure and pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to see all the details on how you can enter the challenge for the chance to win a fabulous prize from Magnolia-licious, and to see the GORGEOUS creations the rest of the Design Team came up with! My jaw kept dropping as I looked at each beautiful project! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
