Happy 50th featuring Art Impressions

I'm finally back! I want to shout out a huge THANK YOU to Simone and Sara for covering for me while I was out sick!! Their work is so beautiful and amazing, and I very much appreciate them!!  So today, I have a card I made for the current Blog Challenge #400, Milestone Birthdays!!! It blows me away that we reached Challenge #400 and I also love that the challenge reflects this huge accomplishment!! I chose to use #5406 Mr Set and have him hold balloons reflecting a 50th Birthday. The best part is the die to cut him out, cut the slot for me to be able to put the balloon strings in his hand!  It was perfect! I started out by stamping his image onto a Copic friendly cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The colors I used to color him are listed below.

Peeking Bunny Butt featuring Art Impressions products

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! The weather here was amazing, but it turned cold again on Sunday. But it's getting closer and closer to spring! It will be here before you know it! I've got an Easter card to show you today. I started with stamping the pot of tulips and that adorable bunny butt from #5870 Peeking Bunny Set onto some Copic friendly paper. The Copic colors I used to color everything is listed below. That fun sentiment is from 5867 Mini Easter Sentiment Set.  See that horizontal strip of paper across the bottom half of the card? That is actually the back panel that comes in Art Impressions paper packs. Don't forget that makes for a fun patterned paper that you can use as well! It's sooo funny that my Design Team sister Janet did the same with her card this past Thursday, so make sure to check out her post and how she used it! Great minds think alike! I used 6012 Basic Yellow PP. To mat that horizontal panel, I matted it with a piece of cardstock that I used the scalloped die from 5543 Journal Template Die Set.  To make the fuzzy cotton tail, I just pulled the end of a Q-tip off and cut it down to the perfect size for the image.

Leaves are falling featuring Art Impressions Stamps

Well autumn has definitely hit us in Reno! The nights are getting cold, the trees are beautiful, and I've got a pot of yummy short ribs simmering! What's your favorite dinner for a cool autumn evening?  For my card today, I used an adorable stamp set #5507 Harvest Together. It has the cutest boy and girl scarecrows ever!! I just used the little girl and colored her in fall colors for the front of my card. I also used the new #5768 Decorative Journal Page Set 1 for the layers on top of my card, along with #5543 Journal Template Die Set for the sentiment, and #5832 Gnome Paper Pack. I stamped the images onto cryogen white paper which has a hint of sparkly fun in it, and then colored her with Copic markers which are listed below. This card is for the You're Such a Square Challenge going on right now! Sure hope you join in for a chance to win a stamp of your choice! Art Impressions WC Animal Planters

Hello AI Fans!

I've got a card for you today that is for the Feeling Blue challenge going on right now.  I used 5521 WC Animal Planters, 5794 Whimsical Flowers Set, 5064 Double Stitched Circles Set, and 5543 Journal Template Die Set. I stamped the images onto Cryogen white paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copic markers. These little cuties are great for Copic coloring too! To get the teddy bear texture on him, I simple dotted around his image with my Copic blender pen after I colored him. Easy Peasy!
