For a special friend featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

Today I have a card to show you that works perfectly for our current challenge #430 Artful Architecture. I wanted to create a window scene, but I also wanted to be able to sign the inside of the card without seeing it through the window. The solution? #5806 Slim Journal Template Die Set! I just used one inside page and it was exactly what I was looking for! I cut the window out of the front panel of the card using the window die from #5543 Journal Template Die Set. The window curtain was cut using a die from my stash that I got from Amazon, and it was a little too short for the window size. It was a perfect spot to put my sentiment banner! I just love that banner die from #5809 Decorative Journal Page 2. I use it ALL the time! TIP! If you have a curved die you want to use for your sentiment set and you have a Misti or similar stamp platform, here's a tip for you. Tape the actual die to the outside top of your stamp platform, then open up the platform. Take your stamp and stick it to the inside of your stamp platform, curving it to match your die. Voila! You can then stamp and die cut your sentiment and it will match the curve of your die exactly!  Forgot to mention the papers I used are from #6205 Floral Shop PP. They're so gorgeous! I just realized I didn't put a single bow on this card! What is wrong with me??!!  LOL!!!

For the center page, I stamped and colored a house from #6185 Swiss Villa Set and the Daisy border came from #6188 FG Daisy Border. I die cut a piece of grass and stamped the sentiment from #5734 Friends Sentiments Set.

And for the back page, I just matted it with more paper from #6205 Floral Shop PP and added another sentiment. to finish it off.

So that's it for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Hi mercies are new every morning featuring Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans!

Happy 2nd day of summer! I have a bookmark to show you today that features #6216 Mercy Set which is brand new from Art Impressions. This set is so gorgeous and I can see myself using it a lot! I think blue and yellow are such a pretty color combination, so decided to use it for this one. These are really quick and easy to put together and I think they make such a beautiful gift! For the bookmark die, I grabbed #6043 Bible Bookmark Dies and cut the inner piece out of a Copic friendly cardstock and the main piece using #6206 Floral Shop Cover PP. I first stamped the bottom bird, then the top one. After that, I centered the sentiment between the two. After coloring them with Copic markers, I added a few tiny blue hearts and then added the ribbon. I hope you get a little inspiration from this and post your creations for us to see!

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit today and until next time - stay crafty!

Don't be so serious featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

OOO doggy! We are having a heat wave! LOL! It's supposed to be in the 90's all week. I haven't had to turn the AC on yet, but I do believe that nice little treat has passed, but I sure did enjoy the ride while it was happening! See what I did there? LOL! Our current challenge is "Enjoy the Ride". If you haven't entered yet, you have a few more days! So I sure hope you grab your paper and glue and join in on the fun for a chance to win a free stamp set of your choosing!

I showed you my creation for the challenge last week, so I have something a little different for you this week. I knew I wanted to use #6074 Pickleball Patty, but I wanted to portray her doing something other than pickle ball. So I stamped her and cut her out, but I also removed the pickle ball racket from her hand. While thinking about what I wanted her to be doing, my bestie Dori said the net from #5926 was a good size for her, and it was perfect!! If you watch the Art Impressions blog, I'm sure you're very aware of Dori and her amazing creations! Her brain is so dang creative. I usually say I'd love to spend a day in her brain to watch how it works, but now I'm too afraid to even think about doing that! HAHA! Anyway, she is truly amazing and talented, and I didn't even hesitate to use her idea she gave me! So I simply cut a piece of Copic friendly paper and stenciled in some clouds and added a die cut of a strip of grass. Those cute butterflies are from #5561 Birds and Bugs set. I hope this inspires you to really look at your stamp collection and try to figure out how you could use them in a different way.

So that's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!

Love you Bunches featuring Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans!

I hope you're having a wonderful start to the new week and that life is treating you well! Our current challenge right now is "Enjoy the Ride"! So you can enter by using anything at all that you can ride in or on. That includes cute wagons like this one! This is another page out of the Floral Shop book I made using the Holiday Lane collection from Art Impressions! I really do love this collection! I stamped the image from #6197 Flower Delivery onto a Copic friendly paper and then colored it with the markers. That watering can on the facing page is from #6177 Garden Friends in the Story Tiles Collection. The book itself along with the mats were die cut using #6114 Box Village Template Dies. You need this set to make the book as well as the box that holds the book.

So that's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Seek Wisdom featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are getting a nice fresh start to a brand new week and month. Today I have created a small decoration that you can tuck anywhere to hopefully help inspire someone. This was so quick and easy to create! I started off by grabbing #5902 Mini Scalloped Frame. This is such a cute little frame and I love the added touch of the scallops. I learned that if you cut out the oval frame and turn it on it's side, the new Flower Border Sets (#6186 FG Tulip Border and #6187 FG Poppy Border), they fit perfectly. I wanted to add a small inspirational quote to it, so I reached for #6204 Wisdom Set 2. The beautiful paper is from #6205 Floral Shop PP. This also fits right in with the current "Yellow" Challenge that is still going on! I hope you've entered your creations for a chance to win a free prize!

So that's it for me today! Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!
