Hey everyone!! Hope you're having an awesome start to your week! It's time for a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly, and this week it's all about Occasions. Here's what I've come up with for you today.

Well I totally screwed this one up. I had this card pretty much completely put together...all I had left to do was add the sentiment. Well I got this brilliant (not) idea to add the sentiment to the image panel and just have it curve around. BIG MISTAKE! LOL! I had popped up the image panel from the rest of the card, so when I stamped it, it only took a portion of the stamp. OOPS! Well there was no way I had time to completely redo the card...so I had to figure out a way to fix it. Thus that very out of place eyelet lace under the sentiment banner. LOL! It's covering up a complete mess of a sentiment stamp underneath it.

It's time for a blog hop at Magnolia-licious!!

Hey everyone!!! Are you ready for some fun?? It's time for a blog hop at Magnolia-licious, and our theme is SUMMER!! So think summer picnics, BBQ's, 4th of July, pool parties! Whatever your brain conjures up with the word summer!! I am the first stop on the hop today! If you lose your way at all during the hop, there's no worries. I used one of the older Magnolia images #250 Tilda with Butterfly Dress. I just think she's so dang precious!! She's colored with Copic markers and set into a shadow box frame that was made using the Silhouette Cameo. The shooting stars, Uncle Sam hat, and July 4th were all cut using the Silhouette as well. I also used a Magnolia-Doohickey die for the trim under the image.

For my card today, I used #392 Princess Pea Tilda from the Once Upon a Time Collection.

She's stamped onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. I also used chalk pencils for some deeper shading. The large butterflies were cut from the Silhouette as well as the frame and banner. The smaller butterfly is a die from Magnolia-licious.
