Challenge 192 Watercolor Stamping week two and new Watercolor release!!

Hello AI Fans!!

It's week two of the Watercolor Stamping Challenge over at Art Impressions, and we're also showing the two new Watercolor Minis ! Today I'm featuring the new Covered Bridge Mini Set.  I tried to make it a fall scene, but not so sure I accomplished that.  I used English Red to try to make the red leaves in the trees, and it looks a little more like pink spring flowers to me. I don't know....what do you think?  I also used the small grass stamp from the Foliage Set.  

To stamp the trees behind the bridge, I just made a mask of the bridge and placed it over the top of the stamped image, stamped the trees, then removed the mask. Voila! Please make sure you visit the Art Impressions Blog to see all the gorgeous watercolor creations by the design team.

Today I've got another card featuring the #4784 Old Bat Set from Art Impressions! Isn't she awesome??!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this entire set!! She was super easy to fussy cut and then I just popped her up on top of some Halloween themed papers! Doesn't get any easier than this!!

I'm here for the Booos!! Old Bat Set from Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans!!! 

Today I made a super fun decoration for Halloween! This would be so awesome to hang by a bar if you have one!  I used the brand new Old Bat Set!!! FUN!!!  I picked this frame up at Michael's and didn't have to do a thing to it. It was already distressed perfectly for a Halloween decoration. I simply added a scalloped edge, some bats, and sentiment frame, all of them cut with the Silhouette. I stamped her on Cryogen white paper and colored her with Copic markers, then just fussy cut her out with my scissors. I popped her up from the background with mounting tape. 

I cut a small piece of white paper to adhere behind the bat's eyes so they would stand out. 

Do you love this sentiment as much as I do??

and I finished it off by adding a big silk bow centered with a green button to pull the green out of her. Oh gosh, you can really see my lack of fussy cutting skills in this closeup. UGH! It was pretty rough trying to get the inside of that chair with a clean cut.

You spin me right round with Art Impressions Spinners!

Hello AI Fans!

My card today features one of the awesome AI Spinners called Love Spinner #4571 with the matching dies which makes it sooooo much easier to cut this adorable couple out!  I wanted to do something a little different than my normal bright colors. So for this card, I only used my cool grey Copics and colored them in black and white using black and white pattern paper. Taking pictures of the cool greys drives me crazy cause the blue tones in the grey really come out in the picture and it no longer looks to be black and white. They don't look this blue in person.
