Art Impressions Challenge - In with the new!

Hello AI Fans!

It's week two of the current challenge going on at Art Impressions Blog, and the challenge is to create a project with one of your newest stamps!  I used the awesome Art Impressions set Live Laugh Love that is available at Hobby Lobby!

I stamped this fun image onto Cryogen White paper and colored it with Copic markers which are listed below.  The papers are Simple Stories Vintage Bliss. Each of the layers are double matted with cardstock, and the card base is white.  I added one of my May Arts silk bows with a button to accent the center and then popped on a couple of sequins and called it a day!

Papertake Weekly - Build it up!!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you're having an awesome start to your week! I'm back home now from our holiday and have pretty much gotten back into the swing of things! For my card today, I'm featuring a super fun image from Art Impressions, Hog Wild Birthday #4472.  I put her on an action Wobble so she wiggles!  I must say, as much as I love it, I'm really getting rather sick of using this paper. LOL! But I bought WAY too much for the classes I taught at Yosemite,  so I'm trying to use it up. I think it's become a hopeless cause, so I'm thinking I will be putting it away until next summer. :)

Papertake Weekly - Don't be a square!

For my card today, I'm showing you a fun Art Impressions stamp from the AI People line called Incredibowl! Heehee...I love a good play on words! 

 Is she fun or what??!! LOL! She kind of reminds me of the way Fred Flintstone bowls. HAHA  The papers are My Minds Eye Remarkable.

Art Impressions challenge - Create with Christmas

Hello AI Fans!!

It's week two of Art Impressions current challenge Create with Christmas! Have you joined in yet? If not, maybe we can give you a little inspiration to help you along. Now I must admit, when I saw this challenge, I got a little nervous. I had no idea which way I was going to go with this one. Use a Christmas image on a non Christmas card? hmmmm....so I fretted and I worried. :)  I knew I wanted to use Reindeer Games Set, but didn't know exactly how. And then one day as I was going through my stamps, I saw Doctor Bill and suddenly knew what I wanted to do. But I had to find the right guy.  And along comes Bud! I love how he's facing the doctor, but looking at her out of the corner of his eyes. He fit into the scene perfectly!  I hope you like what I came up with! The sentiment was done on my computer and the word bubble was cut using the Silhouette. Everything else is just stamps and Copic coloring.

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes!

Hey everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly, and since it's the first Tuesday of the month, it's Anything Goes! We're sponsored by the fabulous folks over at Lili of the Valley! Perfect timing to win a voucher as they've just had a big new release of amazing stamps!  The option for this anything goes challenge is to do Christmas in July!  Here's what I've come up with for you.

For my card, I used a set of cute Polar Pals from Art Impressions called Walking Polars (sku# M4079). I mounted them on a snowflake shaped card I created using a snowflake Silhouette file.

Art Impressions - Eat the Frosting!

Hello Ai Fans and Happy 4th of July for those of you in the States!!

 

Hope you're having a wonderful Holiday weekend and are staying cool and getting some extra crafty time in!! Today I've got a card for you that features that adorable mouse Frosting Spinner and I also used the Frosting Spinner Dies from Art Impressions!
