Hey everyone! I hope you hopped around yesterday to see all the wonderful creations for the new exclusive kit by Annie Rodrigue called GOING PLACES! It's part of the new Krafty Klubhouse sets which are exclusive to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! There's still time to make the rounds of the hop and leave some love all along the way, cause Kimmie will give one random commenter a set of GOING PLACES! But for now, it's time for a new challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog, and this week your hostess is none other than me! And the new challenge is called Heavy Metal! So you can use any kind of metal, real, fake, or illustrated (such as the bicycle on my card). Here's what I've got to show you today
I've used another cutie pie image from Going Places. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The DP's are Nitwit Collections matted with Raven Bazzill cardstock and Lemon Tart PTI cardstock. The bow is made with May Arts silk ribbon topped with a big ole' button tied with twine from The Twinery. The angle of this pic is terrible as it makes the sentiment look very crooked, but I promise it's nice and straight. LOL!
Please be sure to visit Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog to check out my talented teamies gorgeous creations, and then we hope you join us in the challenge this week for a chance to win the image I used! And don't forget to check out Kimmie's Frugal Friday Specials! There are SIX awesome stamps that are on sale for 40 to 50% off!! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - It's sketch week!
Hey everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly, and since it's the last Tuesday of the month, that means it's time for one of Dawny's awesome sketches and that we're being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp!! So this is what I've come up with for today
I used the absolutely adorable #115 Baby Edwin from the new Princes and Princesses collection which is in stock and available right now at Magnolia-licious! Is he not the cutest little thing? He's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. He's then cut out with Nestabilities. Those gorgeous papers are Graphic 45 matted with Bazzill cardstock. The big one was cut out using the Expression, and all the sentiments were computer generated.
The lace was from my stash, and I used the Viva Decor Pearl Pen for the corner pearls.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Recylce it!
Hey everyone and happy weekend!! Whoot Whoot!! LOL! I do love my weekends! So it's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps, and this week our amazing hostess is the one and only Melanie Holtz, and she is challenging us to recycle it! So use anything recycled on your card. Melanie used Calla Lily on her card, so that's the prize that will be up for grabs if you play along with the challenge and use a Kraftin' Kimmie image on your project! Here's what I came up with. I actually recycled an angel charm that came off an old angel charm necklace I've had for forever.
Just a really quick post as it's very late and I'm very tired *yawn* For my card, I used the fabulous new Springtime Lulu from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. She's colored with Copic markers on Cryogen White paper and the papers are Authentique matted with Bazzill cardstock. The flowers are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the lace is from my stash that is also recycled.
Just wanted to address two things...
1. Kimmie has her Frugal Friday specials up. There are SIX awesome stamps that are on special until Sunday night for 40 - 50% off their regular price!! How awesome is that! So rush over and get the ones you want before they're gone!!
2. There's something really special happening next week at Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps! I'm not going to give it away yet, but check back the beginning of next week and you might get a little sneek peak at something I think you're gonna love! Until then, I hope to see you participate in the challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog! Please be sure to pop over to see all the gorgeous work by my insanely talented teamies!!! Thaniks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!

PaperPlay Challenges - Spring Colors
Hi friends!! Happy Friday Eve! heehee...my daughter gets a big kick out me saying that. She thinks it's ridiculous, but whatever helps me get through the week a little easier, I say hurrah for it! LOL! It's time for a new challenge over at PaperPlay Challenges, and the challenge is to use Spring colors! That's a pretty easy challenge for this time of the year, I think. *smiles* We have an awesome sponsor this week, Whiff of Joy! So if you're interested in winning a wonderful prize, be sure to link up your spring projects!
For my card today, I used this fabulous new flower girl from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called Dandy Lion!! She's illustrated by the amazing Annie Rodrigue and is part of the brand new release last week.
I can't even begin to pick a favorite among all these flower girls, as I love each and every one! Here's a link to see all of them at a special price. But this special won't be available for very long, so be sure to get it while the gettin' is hot!! Dandy Lion is stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. I covered the dandelion part of her outfit and her hair pom poms with Flowersoft. I couldn't make my mind up if I wanted to flock it or Flowersoft it. I settled on the Flowersoft, but next time I will try the white flocking. The sentiment came with her. The papers are Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock, and the bow is made with May Arts silk ribbon which came from Stamp and Create as well as the charm. All the layers are machine stitched.
Please be sure and visit PaperPlay Challenges to see the rest of my teamies gorgeous creations. Then we'd love it if you'd play along with us for a chance to win a prize from Whiff of Joy.
This will be my last post for PaperPlay Challenges as I've made the difficult decision to step down from the team. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Sandie and Julie and all the rest of the team. They've been amazing to work with, and I'll miss them!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!!

Papertake Weekly - Bingo Time with The Ribbon Girl!
Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly, and this week it's BINGO!! We are being sponsored by the awesome Mary and Andrea over at The Ribbon Girl! Here's your BINGO card
And here is my card. I used Die Cuts, Free, and Glitter (Stickles)
I've been just waiting to be able to color this adorable image #411 Lillyrose the Dragon from the new Magnolia Collection Princes and Princesses 2012! I just think she's so CA-UTE!!! And she's available right now over at Magnolia-licious for the best price and the best service!! She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers.
I used YG90's for the body and E13, 17, and 19 for her spots, and E41, 43, and 44 for her claws and fangs. The papers are Basic Grey and the layers are all machine stitched.
I also added some pearls in dark brown with the Viva Decor Pearl Pen. I colored up two of Lillyrose, so I decided I might as well use the second one on the inside.
I did a real "no-no" in my own personal book of "things I don't want to do when I make a card". I didn't machine stitch the inside of my card. I always refuse to not stitch the inside if I stitch the card front. But I'm running behind in DT work, so decided this one time would be ok. But now I'm not feeling right about it. *sigh* Oh well...everything is glued down and there's no lifting it up now. So it will just have to do. So how about you? Do you always stitch the inside if you stitch the card front? Am I the only one that is so anal about the whole thing?
So that's it for me today. Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all the gorgeous designs my teamies have created for you viewing pleasure. Then we'd really love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us for a chance to win a fabulous prize from The Ribbon Girl!! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Magnolia-licious Blog Easter Bunny Hop!!
Hi everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and that you're well rested up and ready to hop around like the Easter Bunny! It's the third Monday of the month, and that means it's time for the Magnolia-licious Design Team Blog Hop! This month our theme is The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town, and we're supposed to make projects that can hold Easter Eggs and/or treats. Now you should have arrived here from my talented friend and Design Team Sister, Barb. If not, then you'll want to start at the Magnolia-licious Highlights Blog so you don't miss a thing!
My project today was a lot of fun to make. I started with this beautiful image #363 Tilda and her Bunny from Magnolia-licious. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cyrogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers and cut out with circle Nestabilities. I kept the card very simple as I wanted all the focus on this beautiful Magnolia image. The papers are Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock. The layers are machine stitched, and the image layer is popped up, then the fence is double popped.
The fence and flourish are both Magnolia Doohickey Dies which I love and use all the time. If you haven't been by to see the awesome selection of dies available at Magnolia-licious, then you're missing out! Diana has an awesome selection with amazing service and prices!!! Next up is the treat box which was cut with the Cricut Expression and the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge. It was pretty hard to get a good pic of it with everything in focus.
It's sooooo stinkin' CUTE!!! I'm dying that I don't have a little girl to give this to on Easter (but I think I have a couple big girls that will love it)! I decorated it with paper from Nitwit Collections, the Magnolia Doohickey fence die, and some grass that was cut with the Expression and Zoo Balloo cartridge.
I used an old Basic Grey brad for the doorknob, and again used #363 Tilda with her Easter Bunny.
So that's it for me today. It's time to head over to see my friend Mindy, and the gorgeous creation she came up with for your pleasure today. Then please hop over to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to see how you can play along for a fantastic prize from Magnolia-licious. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon. Hugs!

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of AMAZING new stamps from all our artists! We’ve got something for everyone!! Lulu is back from Cheryl Alger.....we know how much you love her!! So we have a new set called SPRINGTIME LULU! We also have TWO fantastic sets of adorable GARDEN GNOMES from Emilie Goulet called HANGIN’ WITH MY GNOMIES AND WHAT’S UP GNOMIE?!!! And of course we have an amazing new set of six FLOWER GIRLS from Annie Rodrigue!
And of course, as always, we have our Gimme Kimmies Kits available for those of you who ‘need it all’!! The stamps are grouped together by artist and are available at a discount, but only for a limited time!!
Now you should have arrived here from the insanely talented Melanie. If not, you can start at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. Kimmie has a list of all the bloggers there in case you get lost along the way.
I've got two cards to show you today!! First up is one of Emilie's Garden Gnomes from HANGIN' WITH MY GNOMIES.
OMG! I soooo love these gnomes! He's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copics. YG90's for his shirt and cap, E30's for his britches. I gave a base layer of W2 to the rocks, and then finished them up with cool grays. To match the papers which are Basic Grey matted with Bazzill cardstock, I used BG70 and 72 for the water. Then used a neutral gray for the rock's reflection in the water and also added a touch of YG93 to the water reflection as well. I used R20's for the bobber.
I hand cut the banner and corner pieces. Added some twine with a button, some corner pieces, and machine stitched the layers.
Next up is one of Annie's new flower girls called Poppy. She's so beautiful! This card didn't translate well with the digital camera. I like the combination of colors much better in person.
She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. She's then cut out with oval Nestabilities and then layered onto a frame cut with petite scalloped oval Nestabilities. The papers are digital and are matted with Bazzill cardstock. The flourish is from Cheery Lynn Designs and the sentiment is on a Spellbinders frame.
So now it's time to move on to visit one of our amazing artists, Emilie Goulet! Again, be sure to leave some love for a chance to be a random winner! Thanks so much for hopping along with us today! Hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
I've entered the first card in the following challenge:
Craft Your Days Away - Just for Men/Boys + buttonshttp://craftyourdaysaway.blogspot.com/
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Sneak Peeks day three with a new challenge!
Hi everyone and happy weekend!! It's day three of sneak peeks for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, and today we are showing you some sneaks of the new release of Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue!! And this release will make your heart bloom! Annie has created an amazing array of flower girls for us! Oh my gosh, they are so beautiful and amazing to color too! Now since it's Saturday, it's also time for a brand new challenge, and this week we have an awesome sketch for you!
Now I chose to feature not one, but TWO of the new images today ( I can't help it, they're gorgeous!) The first one follows the sketch challenge, and I used the beautiful Peony!
Peony is stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. I used BV0 series to color her, and then brightened it up with V01 on the tips. The sentiment comes with her. DP's are from Bearly Mine Designs (digital) matted with Bazzill cardstock, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the ribbon is May Arts silk.
The second card features Daisy Mae! I don't know about you, but daisies are one of my favorite flowers. I just think they're such a happy flower! So I just couldn't resist coloring her up for you as well.
Daisy Mae is also stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. She is then cut out with oval Nestabilities and then layered onto petite scalloped oval Nestabilities. The papers which came from my scrap pile are by Jilly Bean, and they're matted with Bazzill cardstock. A Martha Stewart border punch was used for a little added interest, and I just layered up some old, old flowers and stuck a Wild Orchid Crafts carnation into the center of them. Once again, the wonderful sentiment comes with her.
Please pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Blog to see the rest of the Krafty Girls and Guests take on the awesome sketch, and then visit their blogs to leave some love. Kimmie will be awarding two very lucky random commenters a fabulous prize of three new flower girls!! WOOHOO!!! Then please be sure and join us back here again tomorrow for the big Blog Hop Release! Don't forget that all these fabulous stamps will be available for purchase on Sunday!! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again tomorrow! Hugs!

Hugs!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Sneak Peeks Day Two!!
Hey everyone!! It's day two for sneak peeks of the new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March release!! Oh soooo fun!! Today, we're going to show you two new sets of images by Emilie Goulet, and I know you're gonna love em'!! They're called "What's Up, Gnomie?" and "Hangin' With My Gnomies"!! Soooo stinkin' ADORABLE!!! For my card today, I used Gnome with Birds from "What's Up Gnomie?". This was so fun to color!
She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. The frame she's on and the sentiment frame were cut with the Expression, and I used some chalk ink around the edges. The DP's are really ooooold, but I like the patterns and colors to go with this adorable image! I matted them with Bazzill cardstock. My stash supplied me with the ribbon and button, and the netting is from a friend. I stitched around most of the layers and added some pearls from a pearl pen. That's it for the details!
You can find a complete list of Krafty Girls and Guests that are showing sneak peeks over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Blog. Be sure to visit them all and leave them some love, cause Kimmie will be picking two random commenters from the peeks today. Those lucky two will win one of the fabulous sets featured today!! WOOHOO!! Somebody's gotta win, so why not you??? Be sure to pop by again tomorrow. With it being Saturday, not only will we have a brand new challenge for you, but we will be sneak peeking the new release from Annie Rodrigue's Moonlight Whispers line! I KNOW you're waiting for that!! :) Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you again tomorrow!! Hugs!!

Hi everyone and welcome to a new challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog! Now this weeks Hostess with the Mostest is the amazing Amanda, and she is asking us to CASE a Krafty Girl! How fun!!! So you can pick any card from any Krafty Girl, and "copy and steal everything"! You can use different papers and a different image as it doesn't have to be exactly like it. PaperPlay Challenge - Recycle it!!
Happy Friday Eve!! WHOOT WHOOT!! Oh my gosh, yesterday was SUCH a happy mail day! I got so much new rubber and I can't wait for the weekend! I'm going to get all inky! So it's tme for a new challenge at PaperPlay Challenges, and this week we're asking for you to recycle something for your card! How cool is that??!! And on top of that, we're being sponsored by the awesome Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts! You won't find any better service than what Nikki will give you. I LOVE shopping with her as I know I'll get the best prices with amazing customer service.
I chose to use an adorable image from a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set called Snips and Snails. Is he not the cutest thing???!!! He's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. Y30's for his shirt and B90's for his shorts and shoes. I can't remember for sure what I used on his hair, but I believe it was E53, 23, 25, and 59. Those yummy papers are Authentique matted with Bazzill cardstock for the base. For my recycled part, I took some old book pages I got from my friend DeeDee, and cut out a small doily and some buttons threaded with twine. There's machine stitching and some more twine wrapped around the top.
So that's it for me today! Please be sure to pop over to PaperPlay Challenges to see the rest of my teamies wonderful creations, then we'd love it if you'd play along with us. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Hey everyone! March weather is always fluctuating so much, and this year is no different. It was 70 deg here today, and tomorrow they're calling for a high of 40 with morning snow. BRRRRR!!!! You can wear shorts one day, and long johns the next! LOL! Anyway, I hope you're having a wonderful start to your week. It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and since this is the first Tuesday of the month, you regular Papertaker's know what that means. It's ANYTHING GOES sponsored by Lili of the Valley. YAY!!! Who doesn't like an "anything goes" challenge? The option for this week is to use shrink plastic on your project. I didn't have any, so that was a "no go" for me, but I'm excited and hoping to see some cool options for shrink plastic! So anyway, here is my creation for our anything goes challenge.
I totally fell in love with this adorable image, #3084 Wild Tilda from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection over at Magnolia-licious! Is she not the cutest thing west of the Mississippi??!! I'd even say the cutest East of the Mississippi too! LOL! I stamped her out with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored her with Copic markers (R80 series and cool grays). She's also available in the mini size as well! How cute would that be to use the mini on the inside sentiment panel?!! I then cut her out and and popped her up onto a frame cut out with Nestabilities.
The papers are from Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock. I also made a vertical strip using a Magnolia Doohickey die. Did you know that Magnolia-licious is carrying all kinds of dies now? She has Magnolia, Marianne, Memory Box, Cheery Lynn, and Poppystamps!! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the bow was made using May Arts silk ribbon with a heart and key charm hanging from it (which were a gift from a wonderful friend - THANK YOU!!)
So that's it for me today. Please be sure to pop over to Papertake Weekly and check out what my talented teamies created for your viewing pleasure today, and then we'd really love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Double Trouble!!
Hi friends!! I LOOOOVE the weekend! LOL! I can guarantee you that I am snoozing away when this posts, and loving every second of it. :-) It's time for a new challenge at Kraftin Kimmie's Challenge Blog, and this weeks hostess with the mostest is the awesome Cheryl Valadez! Now Cheryl gave us a real chalenge this week asking us to use two Kraftin' Kimmie images on our card or project. Well I struggled a little bit with this one until I was going through my stamps and laid my eyes on Florence. WOOHOO! I knew immediately what I would do! And here it is
So as I said, I used the adorable Florence from Kraftin' Kimmie's Moonlight Whispers line by Annie Rodrigue. I paired her with one of the birds from Tweets and Twitters 1 by Emilie Goulet. They go perfectly together, don't ya think? They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. I just extended some of the lines with my Copic Multiliner. The papers are from Nitwit Collections (Summer Splash) matted with Bazzill cardstock and then machine stitched. The clouds are dies from Magnolia and PTI.
Please be sure and visit Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog to see the rest of the gorgeous creations by the design team. Then we'd love it if you'd join us in the challenge. Cheryl used both Super Star and Gadget Girl on her card, and she chose Gadget Girl to be the prize for the lucky winner. Don't forget you have to use a Kraftin' Kimmie image to win!!
Kimmie also has her Frugal Friday specials going on too! Check it out here. Be sure to grab them while you still can!!
Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
