More Lovely Ladies from Art Impressions!

Hello AI Fans!!

Happy weekend!! Hope you're doing well and enjoying a little crafty time today! Did you see that the new 2015 Girlfriends stamps and sets were launched last week and are now available in the Art Impressions shop? Today I'm showing you the brand new Quilt Set. This set is fabulous and so fun to color! I kept the card nice and simple to focus on the amazing image.

I used the Silhouette for the big scalloped border with the heart punch outs. I used one of the hearts from the border for the upper right corner of the image. I just flipped it over as the back side of the paper was solid. I love it when I can use both the positive and negative punch or die cut.

The papers I used are Authentique Peaceful matted with Bazzill cardstock. And finally a look at the inside which uses one of the sentiments that comes with the set.

Papertake Weekly - In the Garden

Hey everyone! I hope you're having an awesome start to your week! It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly and this week the challenge is In The Garden and we're sponsored by the fabulous folks over at Paper Nest Dolls.

For my card, I used one of the Art Impressions clear stamp sets that is exclusive to Michael's via Hampton Arts. Papers are My Minds Eye My Girl. Ya gotta love it when circumstances end up creating the design for your card. I was not going to use clouds like that, but after the image was completely colored, it fell over into the stamp that still had a little ink on it that was still on my desk. So it got a nice ink mark right next to that rusty watering can I'd spent 20 minutes coloring it alone. So out came the cloud dies. LOL!

LOOOVE this sentiment!! LOL!

This set comes with a lot of accessorial stamps which makes it a lot of fun to decorate the inside of the card!

Hello AI Fans!!

Happy Weekend!! Hope you're having nice weather and enjoying your Saturday! So have you seen the new 2015 Girlfriends we launched this week? This is one of them called CHEER SET!

I stamped the image onto Copic X-Press It paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copic markers listed below.

This is one of the cards I taught at the Great Yosemite Stamp Escape last weekend.

The image panel is popped up off the scalloped border which was cut with the Silhouette. Then the scalloped layer is popped up from the card base.

New Art Impressions "Lovely Ladies" challenge and launch of the new Girlfriends!!!!

Cat Big Mouth from Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans!!

So are you loving the new AI Big Mouths line of stamps? I sure am!! Today I'm showing you the Cat Big Mouth! He does look like he's been up to no good, doesn't he? LOL! I love the expression on his face!

He's just got that smug expression that says "I've got a secret! Nah Nah Nah!!" HAHA

And his secret is revealed!! That poor mouse!! LOL!

Art Impressions and Tombow! It's time for a hop!!

For my card today, I used the fabulously fun CELESTE #U4331 from Art Impressions! She is so awesome and could be saying a gazillion different things! So for my card today, I paired her with Friends Judge SKU# G3574. She's colored with Copic markers and the papers are Doodlebug Sunkissed! This is going to be a little picture heavy, but I wanted to show you how I used all the awesome Tombow adhesives they sent for this hop! First up shows you how I paper pieced the sofa that Celeste is sitting on. The Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue was perfect for the job!

There's nothing better than a tape runner for gluing my papers together. That's all I ever use, and Tombow Mono Adhesive Glue Tape is easy to use and holds tight!!

I don't make a card without using LOTS of mounting tape. Well now I've discovered the Tombow Foam Tape! Oh my gosh, this stuff is amazing! It's much thicker than normal foam mounting tape I use. I am sold! LOVE IT!!

I used it on the back of the image panel of Celeste

This is also the first time I've used their Adhesive Dots! Yet another winner in my book! It was so easy to see where I was placing it and that one dot held that ribbon in place which surprised the heck out of me to tell you the truth!
