Best Day Ever interactive card featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans! 

Today's card features SC0795 Road Trip from Art Impressions and it goes right along with the current AI Challenge of Summer Fun!  Is there anything more fun than going on a road trip with your Besties? I wanted to make this card interactive, but I wanted it to look like the car was actually rolling down the road instead of you seeing the sliding mechanism.  So I did a little googling and I love how it turned out! What can I say, interactive cards are always my favorite. Hopefully this video works and I apologize for the background noise...I forgot I had my little desk fan on. LOL

 

Here's a picture with the slide tab open on the bottom where the call is pulled over to the left. I stamped Best Day Ever on it so it's only visible once it is pulled out. 

Here you get a little peek at the inside which I decorated as well.  Can you see the cute little Art Impressions Freebie? :) 

 

I also used the Art Impressions Fence dies on the inside decoration. You can see a little peek of it below.

Me and my recliner featuring Art Impressions

Today I'm sharing the card I created for the Perfect Plaid challenge (you still have a couple days left to enter!!)  For this one, I used #4159 Lazy Boy Set along with a sentiment from #5421 Sit Back Laugh Lines Set. I stamped him onto Cryogen White paper (love the glittery aspect of this paper!) and colored it with Copic markers. 

LOL! If this isn't a snapshot of my amazing hubby, I don't know what would be! I added three antique buttons up in the top left corner and one on top of the plaid bow as well. This is an old container of buttons I stumbled across in a little antique shop, and I absolutely love them! Some of them still even have the old thread in them! So that's it for me today! Hello and happy Saturday!  I made this card for my daughter Cindy for her birthday last week. I didn't want to post it before then just in case she happened to take a peek.  Which, by the way, is highly unlikely since she's such a busy mom! LOL!  I used one my CC Designs digital images and just love these characters! I printed her onto some cryogen white paper and colored her with Copic markers.

Hot Mess Laugh Lines from Art Impressions!

 Hello AI fans!!

My card today features Hot Mess from the Laugh Lines series at Art Impressions.  It comes with so many amazing sentiments that fit this poor distraught woman!  This reminds me so much of my two daughters that have younger children! LOL! They definitely have these types of days.  And the sentiment I chose to use on this card is so perfect! I have said for years that my hard drive is full, so if I want to save anything else, I have to delete a file first. LOL!  I'm sure many of you can relate. 

I stamped her with Memento ink onto cryogen white paper and colored her with Copic markers which are listed below.  I then used AI double stitched circle dies to cut her out. The big scalloped edge was created using a super old punch I have had for so many years. And then of course I added a bow using some May Art ribbon and my Bow Easy tool. The stripe in the chair was achieved simply by using my Copic blender pen. If you're just learning about Copics, the blender pen isn't used at all to blend colors. (I know, right??!!)   I call it my little bull dozer as it actually pushes the color out of the way. So it's very easy to create designs or patterns in an image using it. Happy 4th! I'm celebrating being back at Art Impressions!

I'm SO HAPPY to be back and to be able to share my AI creations with you again!!  I'd like to wish all my fellow Americans a Happy 4th of July! And to our neighbors to the North, I hope you had an amazing Canada Day!!  So let's get to it, shall we??  I'm sharing a card today to celebrate my return to the AI Design Team on the 4th of July! Blanche is actually the first Art Impressions stamp I ever purchased years and years ago! LOL! I still love her just as much to this day. I just had to dress her for the holiday. :)  I also incorporated a couple of the adorable gulls from the Gull Friends Set and the sentiment is from Road Trip.
