Just visit Peggy's blog and get the free image of this beautiful vintage heart (make sure you click on the heart first before you save it so you get it at full size). So hurry on over there and get your free image, and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Wags 'n Whiskers - brown, blue, and white!
We made it to Friday! YAY! :) And that means it's time for a new Wags 'n Whiskers challenge. This weeks challenge is from the fabulous Inge, and it's to use the colors brown, blue, and white on your project. I love this color combo, and chose to use the stamp Bear Hug. I used several different shades of brown, including that beautiful taupe silk ribbon. It comes across a little pinkish in the photo. She's colored with Copic markers, and I honestly have to say that I love this stamp so much!! This card is for someone that is really having a tough time right now, and I'm truly hoping it will make her feel a little better.
The flowers were cut with my Cricut and Gypsy from the Paisley cart with some chalk ink around the edges. I just cut circles out for the centers and topped them off with a bow made from twine from PTI. That fabulous teddy bear charm hanging from the bow is from Lacey over at Stamp and Create! Isn't it adorable??!! The hearts were cut with Nestabilities and then popped up for a little dimension. DP is Webster's pages and cardstock is Bazzill. Please do yourself a huge favor and visit Wags 'n Whiskers. The Divas have really created some amazing eye candy for you this week (they do every week!). These ladies are seriously talented!!! And then we'd love it if you'd play along with us! If you use your Wags 'n Whiskers stamp, you'll be entered for a chance to win a WnW stamp of your choice! Thanks so much for visiting me today, and hope to see you back again soon!! Big hugs!!

Three Clovers Designs with High Hopes stamps!
Happy Friday Eve everyone!! YAY!! Isn't it so sad that I just live for the weekends? LOL! Well....that and vacations! (smile) It's time for a new challenge from Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs. The challenge is to use at least two images on your project, and words don't count!! I used these adorable new High Hopes stamps that I got from Lacey over at Stamp and Create! Have you heard that Dustin Pike is their newest artist? How exciting is that?! I fell in love with these aliens and had to have them. So I used the two different aliens, Chuck and Quentin, and the cute space post sign, and they're colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was printed off from my computer onto the sign. Chuck photographed really red, but he's actually orange in person. The grass was just drawn in with my Copic multi-liner.
The stars, scalloped frame, and photo corners were all cut out with the Cricut using my Gypsy that I got from Hallmark Scrapbook. That's it for today! Please be sure and pop over to Three Clovers Thursdays to see the rest of the fabulous projects from the DT. And then we'd love it if you'd play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
I also entered this in High Hopes challenge this week for a project using three High Hopes Stamps! Wish me luck! Hugs!

He's one smart man, and he seems to know those chickies pretty well. I got so tickled last week when he called that one girl out for teasing him about the whole kissing deal! I'm fist pumping cause he read right through her BS! I love it!!! LOL! Can't wait to see what happens tonight! Ok, enough about that! It's Tuesday which means it's time for a new Papertake Weekly challenge! This week, we're sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp, and it's sketch week, so we have another fabulous sketch from the amazingly talented Dawny!! I just printed it off and colored it with my Copic markers. The papers are all digital and the buttons are from Basic Grey. Twine is from PTI! That fabulous charm is from Lacey over at Stamp and Create (who by the way, has the fastest shipping and best customer service in the world)_, and the lovely ribbon is from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. Love Bug - A new challenge from Bitten By The Bug 2
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend, and now we're starting off a brand new week. Can you believe January is almost over??? We'll be ready for Christmas again before I blink my eyes. SHEESH! LOL! It's time for a new challenge from Bitten By The Bug 2, and this week, the challenge comes from the amazingly talented Marina! She asked us to use the cute love stamp from the Sweethearts cartridge. This cartridge is so cute and so much fun! Especially for Valentine's Day!
I've been dying to use this new punch around the page set of ladybugs by Martha Stewart since I got them, and I finally got my chance. Isn't it too cute??!! The paprs are Basic Grey Bittersweet, and cardstock is Bazzill. I used #346 Tilda with Ladybug that I got from Magnolia-licious, and colored her with my Copic markers. Pinks used are R81, R83, and R85.
The word bug is cut from the Hello Kitty font cartridge with shadow. I used some really yummy black silk ribbon and topped it off with a gorgeous heart charm from Stamp and Create. Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug 2 to see what the rest of the talented designers did with this stamp cut! Thanks so much for popping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again tomorrow for a new Papertake Weekly challenge! Hugs!!

Heart shaped card from The Cutting Cafe' and Magnolia-licious blog hop winner!!!
Good morning everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I ended up spending a couple hours in the ER last night with my poor hubby that rolled his ankle for the third time. He finally caved and said he needed to have it x-rayed when he couldn't walk anymore. Poor guy has bone spurs on his right foot, and then rolled his left ankle, so he was a pitiful sight last night. Anyway, it turned out to be a high ankle sprain, so he's relieved it's not broken. He's still limping this morning, but doing ok. Enough about that - it's time to move on to the FUN stuff!! Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' just released a bunch of new files, and among them is this adorable Heart Accordian Set with envelope. It comes with an accordian heart shaped card, as well as this heart folded card!! I love her cutting files! But if you don't have a machine where you can utilize her wpc files, they also come in pdf files so you just have to cut them out with your scissors,. Be sure and pop over to The Cutting Cafe' and check out all the fabulous new files she's released!

Papertake Weekly - Pretty in Pink!!
If you're looking for the Magnolia-licious blog hop, please scroll down one post....
Nope, you're not seeing double. LOL! This weeks challenge for Papertake Weekly is Pretty in Pink, which is being sponsored by KLM Digistamps! And the really sad part, is I didn't even realize how similar I had made the cards for yesterday and today until it was too late to turn back. I just didn't have the time to make a different card for this challenge. At least I had used different stamps, even if the basic design of the card is the same. :) I'm really sorry it's so similar to yesterdays card, but I still love them both in their own individual little way. I used one of my all time favorite Tildas, #280, Pink Tilda with striped tights from Magnolia-licious. I just love her and think she was born to wear pink and white. :)

I used Basic Grey Bittersweet papers along with a dark brown Bazzill cardstock. I know it looks black in the pics, but it really is a dark brown. This card is on it's way to someone that will be able to verify that pretty soon.

Time for a Blog Hop in PINK!!
This is my second post for today. Scroll down for the BBTB2 post.
YAY!!! It's BLOG HOP TIME!!! We're having a Pretty in Pink blog hop at Magnolia-licious. If you have arrived here from the "oh so talented" Kerry, then you're on the right track. If not, you might want to hop on over to fabulous Claudia's blog where it all begins. The theme of the blog hop is, of course, Pretty In Pink! I love this time of year, cause it allows us to use as much pink and red as we want! LOL! We're allowed to get all gushy and mushy and lovey dovey. *smiles*

I wanted to use one of my older Tildas for todays project, so I picked this adorable Cherry Tilda (I don't see her in stock right now at Magnolia-licious - so if you're interested, just ask Diana) and then went to town with my Pink Copic markers! Of course I had to have a corny Valentine sentiment, so I picked the ruler (#535 ruler) for her to sit on, and then printed out the sentiment from the computer.
I took this cute wood container from M's and decorated it up to match the card. I thought it would be so cute to sit on a crafting desk and hold some smaller tools like tweezers, scissors, rulers, and such. So if you would like to win this set (the card and container with a few little pink goodies inside), just leave a comment under this post before 11:59 PM Saturday night (1/23/10) and I will draw a winner via random.org on Sunday.
Now hop right on over to the fabulously talented Becca to see what delightful project she has come up with for you! And don't forget, if you get lost along the way, just hop right back to Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog for a list of the blog hop participants. When you end up back at the Magnolia-licious Hightlights blog, be sure and get the details for playing along with the challenge for a chance to win a PINKALICIOUS prize!!! Thank you so much for playing along with our hop today. Have fun and good luck!

Wags 'n Whiskers - Challenge #8 - hearts!
Hi everyone! Hope you're ready for the upcoming weekend! I know I sure am! And it's supposed to be one stormy week next week. UGH! I guess it's going to be one storm after another. Hopefully most of it stays up in the mountains where it is needed. I'll take rain down here any day over snow. :) Enough about the weather! LOL! This weeks challenge at Wags 'n Whiskers was chosen by me, and it's all about hearts. The challenge is to have at least one heart on your project. I chose to use this beautiful stamp called Ansley's Surprise. Isn't Ansley gorgeous?! She's is Lacey's daughter as drawn by Crissy Armstrong. And I think this stamp is my new favorite! (I know...I keep saying that! LOL!) I colored it with Copic markers and on her wings, I used Angel Wings Shimmerz.
Please be sure and visit Wags 'n Whiskers to drool over the gorgeous projects from the rest of the Divas! Then grab your Wags 'n Whiskers stamps and show us your version of the challenge for a chance to win! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

This is just a quick post to show you a card I made with one of Regina's new Valentine files from The Cutting Cafe' called Little Love Birds. Isn't it too cute? I just printed it out and colored it with my Copic markers. The papers are all scraps from a card you won't see until tomorrow.... Soooooo I guess to you they wouldn't be scraps yet, would they! *smiles* That's a fun one to think about. LOL!
The scalloped card I made using my Cricut Expression and Gypsy, along with the Plantin Schoolbook and Mini Monograms carts. All of which I got from Hallmark Scrapbook!!
recipe:
images - The Cutting Cafe'
paper - Wild Asparagus for DP and Bazzill cardstock
ribbon - craft supply
ink - Memento Tuxedo black, Copic Sketch markers
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

I Stink I Love You - Papertake Weekly and Kraftin Kimmie
Hi everyone! We made it through Monday! That means it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly! This week is a sketch week, so we have another fabulous sketch from the uber talented Dawny Phillips! Also, we're being sponsored by Kraftin Kimmie!! I don't know if you're familiar with Kraftin Kimmie stamps. I just recently discovered them myself. But I LOVE them! They're fun, whimsical, and some are just a little bit quirky. Just like me!! LOL! This adorable stamp is from Kraftin Kimmie's Crissy's Cuties called Lucy and Ricky. LOVE IT!!
I saw this fun, fun sentiment on my friend and DT Sister's blog, Donna Mundinger! She made an absolutely adorable card with a skunk just the other day, and used this cute sentiment. So I just had to borrow it from her. Thank you for all your inspiration, Donna! The stamp is colored with Copic Markers. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch. Those little hearts in the corners of the stamped image are the little hearts punched out with that same border punch. I love the size of them!
Please be sure and visit Papertake Weekly and check out the amazing cards the rest of the fabulously talented design team has created! You are in for a treat!! Then grab your paper and glue and join in the fun with us! You might get lucky and win a prize from Kraftin Kimmie! Sure wish I was elligible! LOL! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! hugs!

Wags 'n Whiskers - a non red Valentine!
Hi everyone! After a very nice rest, it's time for a new Wags 'n Whiskers challenge. I love each and every one of these stamps, so it doesn't matter which one I pick, cause by the time I'm done coloring it, it's my new favorite! This weeks challenge is brought to us by the fabulously talented Kristine. And she asked us to make a Valentine card that is not red. So first I decided to use this "too cute for words" stamp called Steal A Kiss! Is it not wonderful? I colored it with my Copic markers.
To try and shorten the length of this post, I listed the card recipe below. Please be sure and visit Wags 'n Whiskers to see all the gorgeous cards by the rest of the talented design team! And then we'd really love it if you would play along with the rest of us!
The sentiment I used on this card is from an awesome new HUGE set of stamps from The Cutting Cafe' called All About Valentines Day. It contains a whopping 46 images. That's right... 46!!!! AND....Regina is sooooo generous, that she's allowing me to give away a set of them for FREE!!! How AWESOME is that??!! If you'd like to win this set of digital stamps from The Cutting Cafe, please leave a comment on this post by 11:59 pm Pacific time on January 18th. I will then pick a winner via Random.org.
Card recipe:
paper - My Minds Eye, Making Memories, Bazzill

A gift for you.....ME! Three Clovers Thursday
Ok, know that I'm typing this post up on Wednesday evening.... and I have to say that I actually worked out this afternoon when I got home from work to my new Wii Active. Good Golly, am I ever out of shape!!!!!! WHEW! LOL! It kicked me square in the old behiny, but I needed it, and my goal right now is to do a workout three days a week to start. I'm just happy I made myself do it! Whatcha say?? Are ya proud of me??? :) I'm REALLY afraid of trying to get up out of bed in the morning at 4:30 am..... Hopefully I'll be able to stand up straight! HAHA! Anyway, enough about that! Hope you have had a fabulous week so far!! This week over on Three Clovers Designs, Kerry asked us to create a card that represents our New Years Resolutions. Well....I try really hard not to make New Years Resolutions as I tend to break them before the end of the first week. But there is one goal I have full intentions on trying to stay on track with ths year (besides my Wii Active of course). And that's using up a lot more of my scrap paper. So that's what I did. This card was made completely with paper from my scrap pile! WOOHOO!!! I've got such a huge pile of scraps, and I'm bound and determined to use them up! I made a fun Valentine's Day card using one of the Christmas stamps from Magnolia-licious. I just love this cute Tilda and think she's so versatile. Inside the card, it says "ME! Happy Valentine's Day!!". I thought it was only appropriate since she's all wrapped up in a big bow! :) I used #3001 Wrapped Tilda along with the heart from the new winter club kit. I'm sure Diana will have the new stamps up for preorder as soon as she's able, so keep an eye out for it! They are colored with Copic markers and then cut out and popped up for dimension.
The DP is Basic Grey and cardstock is Bazzill. I also used one of my new Martha Stewart border punches with hearts. Love this one. Those border punches are like an addiction! UGH! I must stop collecting them! That's it for today! Please visit Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs to see the rest of the teams take on this challenge. Then we'd love it if you'd play along with us!
Now for some REALLY fun stuff!!! I have recently reached two milestones. My hit counter hit 150,000 and I now have over 400 followers. I still can't believe that many people enjoy visiting and looking at my work. So as a little token of appreciation from me to you, I will be putting up some blog candy for you some time this weekend. So please be sure and check back! :) Thanks so much for popping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - new beginnings or new stash!!!
WEll, I made it through Monday, and gosh almighty was it ever Monday! I'm just really glad the day is over and we've moved on to Tuesday. And that means it's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly! This week, the challenge is to use your new stash ! FUN! The challenge is being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique, and they graciously gave the DT some fun images to play with. I chose this adorable little girl called Audrey's new dress. I fell in love with her immediately!
So what new stash did I use...let's see....the paper is new, that beautiful glittery brad in the center of the bow is from my new stash. Oh! And I used a brand new Martha Stewart border punch, too! See that adorable LOVE BUG border? That's new too, and from a new stamp set from The Cutting Cafe' called Valentine Long Phrases. I can tell you I will probably be using the heck out of this one! It's got a ladybug on it!! LOL! I messed up on my card though. After I was done gluing everything together, I realized I should have put a black mat under the main red mat, but it was too late. SIGH! Don't you just HATE it when that happens?? It would have added a LOT more oomph to the card. Oh well....such is life. Anyway, please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to see the rest of the DT fabulous creations. Then grab your paper, glue, and all your new goodies you've been dying to use, and join us in the challenge. Who knows...you might get lucky and win a prize from The Stamping Boutique! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon. HUGS!

A whole new Bitten By The Bug 2!!!!
Well, the week has reached it's end, and I have to go back to reality tomorrow. My first day back to work since before Christmas Eve. I have surely enjoyed my time off! :) There's some exciting news for Bitten By The Bug! Regina, the OH SO TALENTED ladybug that founded Biten By The Bug two and a half years ago, has decided to move on and concentrate on her fabulous business, The Cutting Cafe'. If you haven't checked out Regina's digital stamps, then please do yourself a favor and go have a look around. We were all afraid that Bitten By The Bug was going to dissolve, but the fabulous Heather Binnie stepped up and took over the group, and thus - the birth of Bitten By The Bug 2!!!! Thank you sooo much, Heather! This week, our challenge is from Heather herself, and it's to use the "in style" phrase from the Graphically Speaking cartridge.
This is yet another digital stamp I've had forever from Mo's Digital Stamp Too. And this was the perfect challenge to use her. She's colored with Copic markers. DP is by 3 Bugs in a Rug and cardstock is Bazzill. This is one HEAVY card. I used tons of paper in it. If you click on the pics to take a close look, you'll see tons of layering on this one. And of course the layering is continued on the inside too. I added some machine stitching, and some beautiful silk ribbon, along with a cute purse charm (sorry - can't remember where I got the purse charm. Wish I could cause I need more of them!!).
This card will be for sale in my etsy shop if you happen to be interested. The link is on my side bar. Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug 2 to take a peek at the rest of the designers fabulous creations, and please don't forget to congratulate Heather and thank her for keeping this fabulous group together. I would also like to thank Regina SO MUCH for all the years she put into Bitten By The Bug. She's done such a fabulous job, and it truly breaks my heart to see her go. But I know we're going to see some amazing things from her in the near future. Thank you my dear friend. I love you and appreciate you more than you will every know! HUGS!

I love you forever!
Happy Sunday everyone! I wanted to show you this quick card I made combining Peggy Loves Vintage, The Cutting Cafe', and my Cricut and Gypsy. I started out by making a scalloped heart shaped card with my Gypsy and the Gypsy Wanderings cart that I got from Hallmark Scrapbook. I then added this adorable Valentine ducky (from volume 1) from Peggy Loves Vintage Valentine CD, and fiished it off with a cute conversation heart from a file called All About Valentines from The Cutting Cafe'. Thanks for stopping by to take a peek, and don't forget to check back tonight for my Bitten By The Bug project! hugs!!

Happy New Year! A new Magnolia-licious challenge for the month of January!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! I hope you had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year, and wish you all wonderful blessings for the year 2010! Can you believe it's 2010 already? WOW! Since it's January 1st, it's time for a new challenge from the Magnolia-licious Design Team, and this month, it's my turn to pick the challenge. I chose an awesome card designed by the amazingly talented Claudia Rosa that she created for Papertake Weekly. It's called a frame card and if you love dimension, you are gonna LOVE this card!!!! Click HERE for the tutorial on how to make it.
I used stamps from the new winter club kit. Watch Magnolia-licious as Diana will have them up for preorder as soon as she gets the info from Magnolia. And believe me, you are going to want these stamps!! When you visit Magnolia-licious, be sure and join the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group to get special discounts and goodies. Diana is offering a whopping 10% off the Magnolia stamps for the month of January with a special code you get by joining the Yahoo group!! How cool is that??!!
I used three stamps from the club kit for this one. I used the hanging Tilda, the ribbon she's hanging from, and the heart. I turned the hearts into conversation hearts by printing on them and love how they turned out! They're all colored with Copic markers and cut out. I made my frame pretty deep, a full 1/2". The conversation heart inside the frame on the front is double popped up behind the hanging Tilda. I loved the depth cause it made Tilda really hang in the frame. The DP is Basic Grey and cardstock is Bazzill. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and scored it and glued it with Scor Tape to the inside of the frame. I also used a Martha Stewart heart punch to hide the seams of the punched borders. The flat backed pearls are by Kaiser.
After I colored her, I took my blender and went up the front of her pants from the highlight in her socks. I'm no so sure I like the effect from that. What do you think??
I rearranged the directions a little so I could get that depth. I cut my piece of paper at 5 1/2" x 11 1/2", then scored it at 5 1/2" from each end. So you end up with a 1/2" spine for your card. If you do this, be sure and reinforce your spine with some cardstock so your card is nice and sturdy. You can see how I did mine by looking at the inside of the card.
Please be sure and join us over at Magnolia-licious Highlites to get all the details of the challenge and to join in with the fun! Thank you so much for popping by to see me today, and I hope to see you back again soon! I wish a safe, happy, and healthy New Year to you and yours. And I also wish to thank you for a truly wonderful year! I gain so much inspiration from all of you, and appreciate the fabulous friendships I have forged over the previous years. I am truly blessed. HUGS!!!
