Three Clovers Designes - Tuity Fruity!

Happy Thursday, or as I like to refer to it...Happy Friday Eve! Todays challenge from Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs, is to use some kind of fruit on your card or project. Yes, I'm sorry...I did another shaped card. I couldn't help myself. I tried...honest I did! LOL! I really wanted this card to have a country feeling. The ribbon photographed quite a bit brighter than it actually is in person.

We'd love it if you would join in on the challenge over at Three Clovers Designs! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!!!
Details: card shape - Cricut machine with Doodlecharms. Tag - Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More. Paper - Raspeberry Road Designs. Ribbon - craft supply, twine - PTI, button - stash

Hot Hot Hot - It's Stinkin Hot!

Hi everyone! I am knee deep in cuddles and kisses right now from my little grandson that came to visit me today! See this humungous smile that is plastered on my face? I've got some posts scheduled for the next three weeks, but I apologize in advance for not being able to visit you very much and see all your fabulous work as much as I like. But like I said...I'm knee deep in cuddles and kisses. :)

Well, I don't know how your weather is, but here it's been HOT!!! So hot that this cute little chickie is wearing nothing but a pair of heels and holding a fan of feathers! LOL! Isn't this card fun? That fun circle stamp is from The Cutting Cafe' , a set called Summer Word Circles.
I just printed it out on my cardstock and then cut it out with my nesties. In fact the whole card was made with my circle Nestabilities. That adorable girl is from Peggy Loves Vintage and a sheet of vintage images called sexy ladies. Isn't she cute? I just printed it out and cut it out. She's popped up off the card for dimension.

That's it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today! I truly appreciate all your support and your kind comments! You are what keeps me going every day! Big hugs!

What's cookin'?

Well...you remember that recipe swap version that tanked because of a lack of a certain paper? Well....I had 11 of those Tilda's stamped, colored, and cut out. LOL! So I wanted to use at least one more of them. So I thought about what I could do different with her since she's colored exactly the same as the rest of them. Well...I remembered there was a chef's hat on the the Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge. Doesn't it look cute on her? Looks like it was made for her instead of Winnie the Pooh!

I also cut out a tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and more. Tilda with the rolling pin came from Magnolia-licious and is colored with Copic markers. She's popped up with dimensionals from an oval I cut with my Nestabilities. Before I removd the oval from the die, I used my Copic airbrushing on it with baby blue. That left that cool white ring around the outside.

On the inside I also used the Magnolia Love Muffin stamp, colored it with my Copics, and cut it out. The base of the card front was cut with my Cricut and the Storybook cartridge. The DP is by Best Creation Inc and cardstock is PTI. Pearls on the front are from Kaiser.

Don't forget about the $10.00 GC that I'm giving away to Magnolia-licious! If you haven't signed up for it, then pop down to my Edwin card a couple posts down, and leave a comment on the card. I'll be giving it away Wednesday evening! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and I hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Christmas in July - Three Clovers Thursdays challenge

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful week, and happy Friday Eve!! In one week, I'll be preparing to pick my little five year old grandson up at the airport! He's coming to visit for three weeks! YAY!!! (I'm just a LITTLE excited about it! LOL!)

This week over at Three Clovers Designs, Kerry is celebrating Christmas in July for this weeks challenge! Who doesn't love Christmas in July?? I'm like a little kid at Christmas, so this was a really fun challenge. I did another shaped card that I cut with my Nestabilities dies. So easy and I just love the way they look. And I thought it was perfect for this round stamp. I went to the fabulous Regina Easter's shop, The Cutting Cafe', for the perfect circle stamp! I enlarged it to just the right size for the stamp to fit inside it, and voila!

The stamp is by Mary Engelbreit colored with my Copic markers. That's it for today. Please pop over to Three Clovers Designs to check out the rest of the talented team's creations for Christmas in July, and we'd love it if you'd play along with us. Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

The Cutting Cafe Nesting Boxes and a giveaway!

I totally and completely love Regina's cutting files and downloadable stamps over at The Cutting Cafe' , and now she's letting me give away a free set!! WOOHOO!!!! Thanks so much Regina! This set of nesting boxes is a brand new release for Regina, and we're celebrating by giving away a free set of them!! You receive the file in both WPC format as well as a PDF file. So if you don't have a cutting machine that can utilize the wpc file, then you just run your printed paper through your printer and cut the boxes out. Doesn't get any easier than that! Aren't they just the cutest?! There are a set of three boxes and lids that will nest inside one another (without the lids of course). But I love them just like this. Stacked on top of each other as a little tower of presents! How cute to give jewelry in this. Necklace in the larger box, bracelet in the center box, and earrings in the top! Or you can just cut one box out if you just need a quick little gift box!

The printed papers I used are from the spring printable papers on cd from Wild Rose Studio. I truly love this cd! A huge thank you to "you know who"! I will be forever grateful! The ribbon is from PTI, flower is Prima, and the button I have no idea. Might be Bo Bunny, but not sure. Anyway, it didn't take me any time at all to put this adorable set of boxes together, and they are going to be filled with yummy goodies for someone special.
Now for the giveaway info! If you would love to make a set of these boxes yourself, and I might be wrong....but I can't imagine not wanting to make a set of these..., just leave me a comment on this post, and I will randomly give the Three Nesting Boxes Cutting Files / Templates away sometime Friday after work. While you're waiting for Friday, please be sure and visit The Cutting Cafe' for a HUGE variety of downloadable stamps from Regina. Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and good luck!!! HUGS!

Recipe Swap for Magnolia-licious

We did a recipe swap over at Magnolia-licious Yahoo group and it was so much fun! I can't wait to get all mine back to see all the different recipes and fun pages!!! I chose to do this fun summery Tilda sitting on top of a slice of watermelon. As you can see in the picture below, it goes along with the recipe that's inside.

I used this adorable Tilda in lace skirt from Magnolia-licious. Isn't she so much fun?!! I colored her with my copic markers and she's popped up from the page for dimension. The recipe tucks right into the pocket made from stitching around the square.

I used my Fiskars Threading Water border punch for the top of the pocket. The watermelon was cut with my Cricut machine and the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. The fun DP is from DCWV and is nice and sparkly.
That's all there is to it. Hope everyone that got one is enjoying it and gives the recipe a try! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Friends with Tilda by Magnolia

I've had this stamp for a long time and never inked her up. Thought it was just a little over due. I got her from Magnolia-licious, #265 sitting barefoot on fence. I love it when you put a sentiment on the upper right with her, cause I think it looks like she's reading it.
I colored her up with my Copic makers (I actually remembered to get a pic this time...it's below). And just used up some scrap papers of Bittersweet by Basic Grey.

Look at the buttons closely...you can click on the pic. These were some plain old yellow buttons, and I just took one of my Copic markers to them to color them brown. I LOVE how they turned out! They look marbelized and really cool. Whatcha think??

The Friends stamp is from SU that I've had for a couple years colored in with my Copic markers again. I threaded some twine from PTI through the buttons.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Summer Memories with Peggy Loves Vintage and The Cutting Cafe'

Remember the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer? Those are some of the sweetest memories. And that's exactly what the images from Peggy Loves Vintage brings to mind. They take me right back to my childhood and all of those fun memories of summer days. This particular image is from a sheet of images that Peggy sells called Darling Little Boys 1. This is just one of six adorable images from that sheet. All you have to do is print it out and attach it to some cardstock. And Voila, you have an awesome card or layout embellishment! Please be sure and check out all of Peggy's vintage images. They're so fun and easy to use!

The circle tag is from The Cutting Cafe'. Isn't it awesome? It's from a set called Summer Word Circle Set. I simply printed it off in the size I wanted (Regina's file contains three different sizes) and then cut it out with my Nestabilities. I just LOVE Regina's downloadable stamps! They're soooo versatile! Be sure and check out her shop. She has tons of sets to choose from! Keep watching too, cause when she releases a new stamp, you get a chance to win a free one!

Card details.... image - Peggy Loves Vintage ; sentiment - The Cutting Cafe'; paper - SEI and Bo Bunny; cardstock - Bazzill; Other - Star cut with Cricut and George cartridge, button from stash, twine from PTI, Dew Drops by Robin's Nest.
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Thinking of you...A new Bitten By The Bug challenge

Hi everyone! Hope you had a fantastic 4th of July weekend! It's Sunday night meaning it's time to reveal a new challenge from Regina over at Bitten By The Bug. This week, she is asking you to use the house cut from the Wild Card cartridge. For those of you with a Cricut that are unfamiliar with the Wild Card cartridge, I must tell you that you are missing out on a lot!

I did the card on blackout and used my DS software to alter the size just a bit. I added a small strip of Martha Stewart border punch to the bottom of the roof, a tree from Pooh and Friends, the picket fence and grass from Garden of words, and the thought blurb and the word "you" from Cuttin Up. I get my Tilda stamps from Magnolia-licious! Diana has a huge selection of Magnolia stamps, and low shipping fees- only $2.50 for orders up to $50.00. Order more than $50.00 and your shipping is free! This is Dreamy Tilda, #321 and is available now over at Magnolia-licious.

Be sure and pop over to Bitten By The Bug to see what the other very talented designers came up with for this challenge, then grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Don't forget to check out the new contest that's going on over there now, too! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Thank you - Hanglar and Stanglar

Happy 4th of July everyone!! Hope you're enjoying the weekend and having lots of fun! I'm telling ya....I'm just as much in love with these little Hanglar and Stanglar images as I am my Maggies! They're such little cutie patooties!!! I was fortunate enough to have a friend send me some stamped images (thank you - you know who you are) and I finally was able to have some extra time to color one. I colored her up with my copic markers.

The thank you stamp and heart stamp are by Kim Hughes and the sentiment rectangle was cut with my Nesties. The DP is by A2Z Essentials. After I colored her, I cut her out and popped her up for dimension. I'm totally loving that ribbon I picked up at J's!

That's it for today. Thanks a lot for stopping by to visit, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

July Birthday in red, white, and blue. Three Clovers Thursday challenge!

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs! This week, in honor of our Nation's birthday, Kerry asked us to create using the colors red, white, and blue. I don't send 4th of July cards out, and I completely loathe making something that I know I will never use. So I needed to incorporate this into a card I could use. And lucky enough, my daughter has a birthday in July! Problem solved!
To make it, I knew I was going to have to incorporate one of my Maggies from Magnolia-licious! And I just HAD to use this Shabby Chic Tilda standing with bow. I just think she looks like she's straight from a 4th of July picnic! I colored her with my Copic markers and popped her from the star shaped card base, which is from The Cutting Cafe'. Sooooo easy! I then took one of the circle sentiment downloadable stamps, also from The Cutting Cafe' from a set called Happy Birthday to my Daughter - Son, and inserted my own sentiment in the middle. There are lots of sentiments that come along with the circle stamps, but I wanted something that coordinated with the card shape, so I just made my own. Oh, and the circle sentiment says "Happy Birthday to my Daughter". The "to my" is hidden by Tilda.
So that's it for today! Be sure and hop over to Three Clovers Designs to see what the rest of the fabulously talented team came up with, and then grab your red, white, and blue paper and ink and play along with the rest of us!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!
