Happy Birthday from the Dog with Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans!! 

Today I've got some cards featuring the fun Dog Mouthful Set. I also used the Flag Double Stitched Dies and the Tag Stitched Dies on my cards. 

This guy is just to cute and fun! I stamped him up multiple times and colored him differently for each one.  After fussy cutting him out, I ran him through my cuttlebug with the die that cuts out his mouth.  Then you can put one of the many choices from the set in his mouth! FUN! I had another colored with the bone, but didn't get the card finished, so I'll have to show him to you at another time.

The dog house is a Silhouette cut file. I used it alone on this card, and then turned it into a shaped card for the next one! It's so easy to do!! The clouds are from Paper Smooches.

Art Impressions Challenge 250 House or Cottage Week 2!!

It's week two of the House or Cottage challenge over at Art Impressions! My card today features the Holiday Mansion set and the brand new HM Garden Set! I'll admit I hadn't gotten the Holiday Mansion and colored them up before this new release. And once I did, I flat out fell in love. These make the most adorable cards EVAH!! I had so much fun with them, and I can't wait to make another one!

Art Impressions Holiday Mansion Birthday Set

Hello AI Fans!!

Have you seen the brand new Holiday Mansion sets that Art Impressions has released? They are so awesome! Today I'm featuring the HM Birthday set along with the Holiday Mansion. Aren't those the cutest little clowns ever??!!  There are so many fun accessories so you can make that perfect birthday card for that special someone! This card was so easy to put together! I just cut some grassy hills and glued them on top of the heart paper. I backed the house with an oval layer to help it stand out a little from the busy paper. I wanted more than one clown, so I just stamped him a couple times and colored him with different colors. Did the same with the balloons too. I popped the shutters up from the windows just to give even more dimension to the house. It's just so dang cute!!

Birthday Love using Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans! 

Happy weekend!!! So are you getting some crafty time in this weekend? I'm planning on it, that's for sure! its My card I'm showing you today features #4409 Cupcake BFFs stamp set! I stamped her onto Cryogen White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her up with Copic markers.  The markers I used are listed below. 

I used #5133 Flag Double Stitched Dies. LOVE them! I also used some very old Spellbinders heart and scalloped heart dies.

Art Impressions Stripes and Circles Week Two and brand new Circlet MTF!!!

Hello AI Fans!! 

It's week two of Challenge 249 Stripes and Circles at Art Impressions Blog and all of the Design Team are featuring the brand new Circlet Mini Tryfolds! My card today features #5092 Pasture Circlet MTF. I wanted to do something different, and I had found this video from My Favorite Things on how to make a shadow box card.  I altered it to fit what I was trying to do and love how it turned out. It folds to a flat 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card for mailing!  Then pops right back open when you take it out. Neat, huh???

My Favorite Thing to Do with Art Impressions

I love this technique of coloring in black and white or sepia.  It's a fun challenge for me since I usually use such bright and bold colors. These fabulous images from the Love Birds Set from Art Impressions were colored with all the warm grey Copics, then I just added a pop of red for Valentine's Day.  For Dies, I used the Rounded Rectangle Double Stitched Dies, the Circle Double Stitched Dies, and the brand new Flag Double Stitched Dies for my cards.
