Unconditional love - Tilda with puppy

I just love this background stamp from Magnolia-licious! It's just so much FUN! I used a total of three Magnolia stamps on this card, Tilda with puppy, fence with summer background, and the sun. I stamped Tilda with puppy out three times so I could cut the puppies out and place them around the fence. All of these stamps are available at Magnolia-licious. You should check them out! They have the largest selection of Magnolia stamps in North America. And Diana is now offering free shipping on ANY order, no matter how much you spend! How cool is that?!
The DP is by Wild Asparagus and the cardstock is Bazzill. The stamps are colored in wth my copic markers. Tilda is cut out and popped up from the card, and so are the puppies. I used a light blue chalk ink around the edges of the summer background stamp.

The cloud was cut out with my Cricut Expression machine with the Hello Kitty cartridge. That cute sun was cut out and popped up off the card. I love dimension, and this card has plenty of it!

That's it for today. We're halfway through the week and Friday is now in my sights! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and I sure hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Bitten By The Bug challenge - bunny from Doodlecharms cartridge

It's Sunday night, and that means it's time to reveal this weeks challenge for Bitten By The Bug! It's Easter time, and in just a couple weeks, that cute little old Peter Cottontail is going to be hidng eggs all over the place! So Regina's challenge this week is to use the bunny cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge. I had fun with this one cause I really do love shaped cards! So I cut the basket (also from the Doodlecharms cart) out at 6" with Making Memories paper and then shadowed it wih the blue cardstock. The eggs were cut out just using some scrap paper, and the grass was cut from the ZooBalloo cartridge. The Expression and all the cartridges are available at Hallmark Scrapbook.
The chocolate bunny (with a bitten ear) and the rest of the cuts are actually glued inside the layers on the inside of the card so that no raw edges are showing anywhere, inside or out. Added a big pink gingham bow with a blue button, along with some pearls (not marked so no idea where they came from) for interest. OH! I wanted the chocolate bunny to look like he had that icing, so I drew his features with pink liquid pearls. I then added two tiny blad pearls by Kaiser to his eyes. This little cutie will be for sale in my etsy shop very soon. (link is on the top right of my blog) That does it for this card. Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug to see the rest of the extremely talented design teams projects with this cute bunny! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope I see you back again soon! HUGS!

Hey Chickie - Happy Spring! Tilda with chicks

Happy Saturday everyone! I finally got a few minutes to be able to craft! YAY! Poor hubby and my daughter had a nasty flu this week, and then my allergies were attacking me big time! But all is better now! I used one of my new Tilda stamps from the Easter Collection that I received from Diana at Magnolia-licious! Thank you Diana! Diana announced the exciting news this week that she is now offering free shipping in the US and Canada on all Magnolia-licious orders! Now how cool is that??!! THANKS DIANA!!
This is #339 Easter Tilda, and I colored her with my Copic markers. (#'s listed below) I really love dimension in my cards, so I cut her out and popped her up off my card. The DP is by Imaginisce and cardstock is Bazzill. The card measures 6" x 6", and the scalloped square base was cut with my Expression machine and the Storybook cartridge which are all available at Hallmark Scrapbook. The little tag was cut with my Cuttlebug machine and a Cuttlebug die, and the circle and scalloped circle were cut with my Nestabilites. Added some doodling and that was it for this one.

Thanks for stopping by to see me today. Be sure and head over to Magnolia-licious to check out the adorable new collection called Chasing Butterflies. They are the cutest set yet, and they're now available for preorder! Diana also has a great value for you with the Chasing Butterflies Bundle where you can save some money, and don't forget about the FREE SHIPPING!! Have a wonderful Saturday and hope to see you back again soon!! HUGS!

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge

EDIT: A big thanks to Enfys! She let me know that this stamp is an Alota stamp. Just click here. Thanks for your help Enfys!!

It's Thursday and time for another challenge over at Three Clovers Designs! This week, Kerry's challenge is to create a birthday card using purple and glitter to celebrate her birthday on April 1st. Happy early birthday Kerry!! This was fun cause I just never use the color purple. Don't know why cause I really like the softer shades of it, in fact I really love lavender.
Anyway, I had this cute little image in my stash that I got from Dawny P (check out her blog), so I have no idea who it's by. Sorry! The DP is Basic Grey and the cardstock is Bazzill. The stamp is colored with my Copic markers, and I stickled her little coat for the glitter.

Added some wired silk ribbon along with a Prima flower and a Making Memories brad, and that just about completes this card. Please be sure and visit Three Clovers Designs to check out what the rest of the Inspiration Team created for this challenge. And then we'd love it if you'd grab your purple paper and glitter and play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! It's almost Friday!!! HUGS!

Signs of Spring Bitten By The Bug challenge

It's Sunday night, that means it's time to reveal another challenge from Bitten By The Bug! This week, Regina is asking you to use the word SPRING from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. This is such a cute cut! How could I not set a Tilda right on top of it? And I used one from the new Spring Club kit too. I also used the spring tree from the Easter collection which is available at Magnolia-licious.
The papers I used are just a little sneak peek of papers I received in the AWESOME kit that will be available tomorrow night over at Sweet Arts Paperie. They are going to debut the kit on their awesome site. Be ready though, cause their kits are limited and I don't see how you can pass this up!

The stamps were colored with my Copic markers, and the circle and scalloped circle the tree is on was cut out with my Nestabilities. The little tag was cut with a Cuttlebug die. I use that die SOOOO often for small little accent tags. I had a REALLY hard time getting the colors of Tilda to match the background papers. No matter what mixture of blues and greens I used, I couldn't get it right. So sorry for the clash of colors. And of course it tells me that I need more Copic colors!! LOL! I feel a shopping spree coming on!

So that's it for my card for tonight. Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug to see what the rest of the awesomely talented DT came up with! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!

Got Eggs? A conerted non-Easter Tilda card

One of the many things I love about the Magnolia stamps is the versatility. You can change just about any Tilda to fit the season. This particular Tilda is holding a heart. But being that it's Spring and almost time for Peter Cottontail to come hopping down the bunny trail, what I saw instead of a heart was bunny ears! So I simply (VERY simply - I'm not an artist!!) drew a little bunny face on the heart, and VOILA!.....you have an Easter Tilda!

Isn't that egg beautiful too? Both the stamps are available at Magnolia-licious! The Pink Tilda with a heart is coming soon, and so is the Easter Egg , so watch for them! Tilda and the egg are colored with my copic markers (numbers listed below) The paper I used is from Scenic Route and the cardstock is Bazzill. That cute downloadable stamp that says Got Eggs is from The Cutting Cafe'.

The ribbon is from PTI, flower is Prima, and the pearl is by Kaiser. I have to say that I used my talented DT sister, CHERYL ROWLEY's technique for highlighting my Tilda's socks. Check ou her blog. She's wickedly talented! That's it for this card! Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Following is the list of Copic markers used to color the stamps:
Tilda : B41, B95, RV23, R20, E00, E02, E08, Y21, G20, G21, G24
Egg: B21, B41, B95, YR24, R01, YG25, G28
HUGS!

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge day!!

Today is Thursday, that means it's time for another 3 Clovers challenge! This week, Kerry challenged us to USE IT UP!! We were to use two pieces of paper that have been in our stash for at least a year. Well... I don't know about you, but I sure didn't have any problems with this one! LOL! In fact, I'd like to see this challenge every day for about....oh.....I'd say maybe two years or so??? LOL!

I honestly don't even know the maker of the paper I used. Sorry! I used a couple stamps I got from Magnolia-licious, Edwin in a bunny suit, and wagon with eggs. The stamps are colored with my Copic markers. The circle and scalloped circle are cut out with my Nestabilites, and popped up from the card base. Edwin is popped up as well.

Hope you're not tired of that cute little pink bunny I'm using in my Easter pics. I found her at the grocery store for like 2 bucks, and I just can't get enough of her, A couple more Easter cards and she'll be retired to the grand kids. She makes a big "BOINGY" noise when you drop her on her behind! LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by to visit today, and please be sure and check out all the other team's projects for this challenge. OMGosh, these ladies are SO talented!! Their projects are amazing! And then grab your OLD paper and glue and join in on the fun! Just be sure and link your project to Kerry's blog. Have a wonderful day! It's almost Friday!! HUGS!

It's dress up time! Peggy Loves Vintage

Happy hump day!!! We are now on a down hill slide to the the weekend! YAY!!! Isn't this vintage ducky cute? She's all dressed up in her Easter finest! This card was SO easy to make! I just grabbed a piece of paper from my scrap pile for the background paper and then reached for my vintage cd's I got from Peggy Loves Vintage!

I just looked really quick through some of the hundreds of images that come on those cd's until I found the perfect image for what I was looking for, (I sure didn't have to look very long!!) and she fit the bill! LOL! get it? bill? OMGosh...I think it's late and time for bed!! LOL! I simply printed her and her little dresser mirror out and cut them out. She's popped up from the card base with dimensional tape. Added some ribbon and this one was DONE! Gotta LOVE a card you can get done in just a few minutes!

Do yourself a favor and go check out my awesome sis's vintage cd's over at Peggy Loves Vintage. If you love vintage, you are going to feel like you stepped into heaven! Thanks for stopping by to visit me today and hope to see you back again soon!! HUGS!

Bitten By The Bug challenge turned to The Cutting Cafe'

Ok, what can I say? I can't do pillow boxes. I've tried and I've tried and I have hated every one of them I put together. It's just not a shape for me. I tried yet again because that was our challenge over at BBTB this week...to use the pillow box from the Wedding Cartridge. I cut it out, and I sent the pic to Regina, and then decided that the best part of the whole thing I made was this adorable Easter tag. So if you want to see my pillow box, you can see it over at BBTB. (sorry...but I HATE it! LOL!) But I will show you this cute tag you can make with the AWESOME new downloadable stamps from The Cutting Cafe' that I attached to that pillow box. I just resized the word block for the size tag I wanted and printed it off. Then resized that cute little chick with egg and printed her off too.
I colored everything with my Copic markers, cut the chick and egg out and popped it up off the tag. Thought this would be a perfect tag to attach to an adorable stuffed animal for Easter, don't ya think?? Regina's stamps are awesome to work with! You can resize them to whatever you need and only have to print the ones you want to work with. Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug to look at what all the other talented designers came up with for this challenge. You won't be disappointed! And then jump over to The Cutting Cafe' to check out Regina's awesome downloadable stamps! Thanks for stopping by to visit and hope you had a fabulous weekend! Come back and see me soon!!

Sitting bunny Tilda card

I got my Easter stamps from Diana at Magnolia-licious this weekend and I just couldn't wait to ink them up. This is the sitting Tilda in a bunny suit. Isn't she cute??!!! I used four different Magnolia stamps on this card. Of course there's Tilda, and I also used the summer background, the old bench, and the new chicks stamp from the Easter Colletion.

The circle and scalloped circle was cut using my Nestabilities, the top border from a Martha Stewart border punch, and the flourishes were cut with my Pazzle Inspiration and twirls and swirls cd. All the stamps were colored with my Copic markers. Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

For our little princess- Sweetheart Tilda on a swing

Yay!!! We made it to Friday and it's now the weekend! I LOVE the weekends! And I came home today to find some wonderful stamps from Diana at Magnolia-licious. THANK YOU DIANA!! I can't wait to ink them up. For this card, I used three different Magnolia stamps.
Isn't that Old Oak Tree the best?? I love it! I also used the swing and Sweetheart Tilda. I just cut the branch off the swing so it would (hopefully) look like the swing was hanging from the Oak Tree.

I colored the stamps with my Copic markers which are now available at Hallmark Scrapbook, and cut out both the swing and Tilda. Tilda is popped up off the card with dimensional tape. I just fell in love with this paper when I saw it. It's by Imaginisce and the cardstock is Bazzill.

I cut the tag with my Cricut Expression with the Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cart and ran it through my printer for the sentiment. Added some Offray ribbon and a Making Memories brad, and that does it for this card. I'm going to try and get an Ebay shop going this weekend, (remember I said TRY) and will be offering this card up for sale. That's IF I can get it done. I'm afraid that might be a big if! LOL!

Here's a peek of the inside of the card. The sentiment shape was cut with my Cricut Expression and the Storybook cartridge, as well as the tiara. And I'm sure you recognize the MS border punch.
That's it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Enjoy your weekend! HUGS!!

Three Clovers Thursday Challenge and a really fun birthday card!

It's Thursday and you know what that means! It's challenge time over at Three Clovers! I had a BLAST working on this challenge. I mean...look at this cake! HOW FUN!!! So I turned on my Cricut Expression, and I went to work.

I cut the one out with my Sesame Street Font cartridge and then cut the shadow four times and glued them all together. It makes awesome faux chipboard. Happy Birthday was cut with my ZooBalloo cartridge and shadowed that one as well, also multiple times for strength, and did the same thing yet again for the balloons with the Celebration cartridge.
Before I glued all the balloon layers together, I cut some strips of red wire and attached the wire the balloon, then continued gluing the balloon pieces together. That way, the edge of the wire is hidden up inside the ballon. I used Zip Dry glue to glue the wire on, and I used a very generous portion of it too. It is holding the weight of them wonderfully!

The DP is DCWV Nana's Kids, don't know about the cardstock. I cut the base out at 1 1/2" wide and scored down the middle. Then attached the one to the front and center of the strip. I also cut two layers of cardstock to attach to the back for the added weight. The card stands just fine. For the base of the strip, I used kraft cardstock cause it's nice and sturdy.

The adorable little dragon is by Lelo Designs that I purchased from 7 College kids. When I cut him out, I just did away with the string that was holding the balloon and replaced it with some wire too. I colored him with my Copic markers. He's stamped, colored, and cut three times and each layer has a thin layer of dimensional tape in between.
Thanks so much for stopping in to see my take on Kerry's challenge today, and I hope you pop over to Three Clovers and take a peek at what the rest of the Inspirational team did. They are all wickedly talented!! Hope to see you back again soon!! HUGS!

A note to cheer you. Tilda scenery card

We made it to hump day, and once again, Friday is in our sights!! I just love making scenery cards. Not really sure why....I think maybe it's kind of like telling a little story, and I always wanted to write. All I know is that it's one of my very favorite types of cards. So this one was VERY fun for me to build. I made it for a blogging friend's mother that needs a little cheering up.
The Tilda, bench, and rock wall are all available at Magnolia-licious. Doesn't it look like she's sitting in a park somewhere? I colored them with my Copic markers and cut all three out. The bench is popped up with dimensionals and then Tilda is popped up yet again from the bench.

The DP is from Making Memories and cardstock is Bazzill. The trees and bird were cut with my Cricut. The trees from the Pooh and Friends cartridge, and the bird from the Wild Card cartridge. I used a little chalk ink around the edges of the trees. The tag was just hand cut and I put a little faux stitching around the outside of it and attached it with a safety pin.

The Copics, Cricut Expression machine, along with the two cartridges, are all available at Hallmark Scrapbook. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! I'd love it if you'd take a sec and let me know what you think about the card. Have a wonderful Wednesday! Hugs!!
