Today I'm showing you a card I made simply for fun! This little cutie pie is hiding away in the Valentine's Day stamps at Art Impressions called Show the Love set, but I think she can be used for much, much more!! I just decided to put her in purples and pinks instead of red, and plopped her beautiful image right on this every day card! I paired her up with the very appropriate sentiment of Don't Hate Me.  Of course she required just a touch of bling, so I used just a smidge of Wink of Stella too. :) Hope you like her as much as I do!!!

For my card today, I wanted to use the adorable Lucas from YOU'RE A ROCKSTAR!! I colored him up with Copic markers and then surrounded him with a frame cut with the Silhouette. I kept this VERY simple as I wanted all the focus on him!!

Art Impressions is now at Michael's!

I've been having  a play with the awesome Art Impressions stamps that are now available at  Michael's!! I have plans on collecting them all as I can find them! This stamp set is His and Hers Flying High I thought these were PERFECT for making a box card.  Have you tried one of these yet? They are SUPER easy to make, and even though I did use my Cameo to cut this one out, you can use your paper trimmer and make one just as easily.

Doily Challenge at Art Impressions!

I sure hope you're having an awesome week and that you're staying cool! Don't know what it's like where you are, but it's HOT here! WHEW!  Have you entered the "use a doily" challenge going on right now over at Art Impressions Blog? You could win an amazing prize, so if you haven't...what the heck are you waiting for??!!! :)  Here's my card using a couple different doilies and the "29 Again" stamp set from Art Impressions. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set!!! The look on her face is priceless. I really see that Grandmotherly expression that kind of says, "I'll humor you, BUT....!!".  LOL!

The card shape and banner were cut using the Silhouette Cameo. The big doily on the back side of the card is a die from Cheery Lynn Designs, and the small doily right behind the image panel is a Magnolia Doohickey die.
