Kraftin' Kimmie - anything but a card

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a fabulous start to your weekend! It' time for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge blog, and this week our hostess with the mostest is the amazingly talented Angie!  Her challenge to us this week is to make anything but a card with your Kraftin' Kimmie stamps! Here's what I created for this awesome challenge!

Isn't she the cutest thang evah???!!! LOL! LOOOOVE her! She's Julie from the Moonlight Whispers line at Kraftin' Kimmie's.  I also used a Trinket from the Everyday Trinkets set which I adore!!  Julie is stamped with Memento ink onto X-Press It cardstock and then colored with Coipc markers. I cut her out and popped her up from the lid of the gift box. The sentiment "Let's Party" comes with her. FABULOUS!!

There's a little bit more of an angled view of the box, the trinkets are on each side of the box. The box was cut using the Cricut Expression and the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge from Hallmark Scrapbook. The DP's are digital from Nitwit Collections and the cardstock is Bazzill.

Please be sure to pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to check out all my talented teamies creations for you. You are sure to get some amazing inspiration! Also check out all the details on how to play along with us for a chance to win the image Angie used on her fantastic project (Miss Information), but don't forget you have to use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp to be eligible to win!!  Oh! Hey everyone! Happy weekend, and if you're in the states, happy THREE day weekend!!!  It's time for a new challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie  Challenge Blog, and this week, the hostess is me! The challenge I chose for you this week is "Get Sentimental". LOOOOOVE them!!!

She's stamped with Memento ink onto Copic X-Press It Cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The DP's are from Nitwit Collection (Toadally Yours) matted with Bazzill cardstock. I used a punch around the page set from Martha Stewart while I'm VERY IMPATIENTLY waiting for my Cameo to ship to me. LOL! The layers are all machine stitched and popped up from one another for lots of dimension. The Trinket is stamped using my Tim Holtz Distress markers and then cut out with Nestabilities, and once again popped up. The bow was made using May Arts silk ribbon and then I added some pearls with the Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

Please be sure and join us over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog where you can see all the fabulous sentimental projects from all the oh so VERY talented Krafty Girls and Guests! And then we'd love it if you'd join us in the challenge for a chance to win Lulu on her tricycle!

I chose to use an adorable Lulu from the brand new set Playtime Lulu which is available for purchase right now over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Isn't she the cutest??!!!  She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The papers are Graphic 45 matted with Bazzill cardstock. The sentiment is computer generated, and of course my standard bow.  Please be sure and pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog to check out what my teamies have been up to, and then we'd love it if you'd play along with the challenge. More Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Sneak Peeks and a new challenge

Hey friends!! Happy Weekend! It's time for day three of sneak peeks from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps new April release!! And today, it's time to see the new images from Annie Rodrigue!! Let me just tell you this....you're not in Kansas anymore!!!!! And  I think this collection is really going to grab you, and your little dog too!!!! Heehee!!! Yep, that's right, this months release from Annie is from The Wizard of Oz! Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how excited I am to have this collection! There are a total of SIX characters with amazing sentiments that come with them, and then there is a set of Wizard of Oz Sentiments. Now since it's challenge day, there's a new sketch for you to follow that was created by the amazingly talented Krafty Girl Melanie! And our hostess for the week is the wickedly talented Krafty Girl Sandie. Check out all the details over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog on how to play and what you could win. I've got two cards to show you today. The first one is my sketch card

For this one I've featured the gorgeous Dorothy and one of the sentiments from the Wizard of Oz Sentiments set. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. She's cut out with Round Nesties. A Martha Stewart border punch is used for the scalloped border, and the papers are MME matted with Bazzill Cardstock. I used some of that crystal garland that I've had in my stash for forever, and added a May Arts silk ribbon bow topped with a paper flower.

The next card shows off the amazing Scarecrow! I looooove him!!!!!

Isn't he just too fun???!!! And he was fun to color too! He's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The sentiment I used comes with him, and I can see myself using this one a LOT! LOL! The papers are by Jillybean matted with Bazzill cardstock. I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page set to make the solid panel. Other than that, I simply added a small piece of tattered cheesecloth and a button with a twine bow.

So that's it for me today! As you hop around to visit all the Krafty Girls, remember to leave some love so you have a chance to win some of these fabulous stamps!! You can find the complete list of all the Krafty Girls and Guests right HERE.  Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you tomorrow for the big blog hop and official release of all these fabulous images for sale! Hey everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog, and this week, the challenge is tags! Either create a tag, or use a tag on your project. I used the adorable Tabitha from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Moonlight Whispers line.

She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The frame is made using an oval and petite scalloped oval Nestie. The banner is from the Papertrey Ink banner builder dies with a little twine added. The papers are from Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock. The tag is from another metal die that I got YEARS ago at a Cricut swarm, but there's no name on it. It has four different small dies on it. I just attached it to the bow using a safety pin from my stash. The pearls were made with a Viva Decor pearl pen.

So please don't forget to check out all my talented teamies gorgeous creations over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. Then we'd love it if you'd join us for a chance to win!!

Don't forget about Kimmie's Frugal Friday specials this week! There are SIX fantastic images that are on sale 40-50% off!!  They are Marina, Annette, Kimiko, Krista, Tweets and Twitters 1, and Spring Friends!!  Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs !

Kraftin' Kimmie - Heavy Metal

Hey everyone! I hope you hopped around yesterday to see all the wonderful creations for the new exclusive kit by Annie Rodrigue called GOING PLACES! It's part of the new Krafty Klubhouse sets which are exclusive to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! There's still time to make the rounds of the hop and leave some love all along the way, cause Kimmie will give one random commenter a set of GOING PLACES!  But for now, it's time for a new challenge over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog, and this week your hostess is none other than me! And the new challenge is called Heavy Metal!  So you can use any kind of metal, real, fake, or illustrated (such as the bicycle on my card). Here's what I've got to show you today

I've used another cutie pie image from Going Places. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The DP's are Nitwit Collections matted with Raven Bazzill cardstock and Lemon Tart PTI cardstock. The bow is made with May Arts silk ribbon topped with a big ole' button tied with twine from The Twinery. The angle of this pic is terrible as it makes the sentiment look very crooked, but I promise it's nice and straight. LOL!

Please be sure to visit Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog to check out my talented teamies gorgeous creations, and then we hope you join us in the challenge this week for a chance to win the image I used!  And don't forget to check out Kimmie's Frugal Friday Specials! There are SIX awesome stamps that are on sale for 40 to 50% off!! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Recylce it!

Hey everyone and happy weekend!! Whoot Whoot!! LOL! I do love my weekends!  So it's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps, and this week our amazing hostess is the one and only Melanie Holtz, and she is challenging us to recycle it! So use anything recycled on your card.  Melanie used Calla Lily on her card, so that's the prize that will be up for grabs if you play along with the challenge and use a Kraftin' Kimmie image on your project!  Here's what I came up with. I actually recycled an angel charm that came off an old angel charm necklace I've had for forever.

Just a really quick post as it's very late and I'm very tired *yawn*  For my card, I used the fabulous new Springtime Lulu from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  She's colored with Copic markers on Cryogen White paper and the papers are Authentique matted with Bazzill cardstock. The flowers are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the lace is from my stash that is also recycled.

Just wanted to address two things...

1.  Kimmie has her Frugal Friday specials up.  There are SIX awesome stamps that are on special until Sunday night for 40 - 50% off their regular price!! How awesome is that! So rush over and get the ones you want before they're gone!!

2. There's something really special happening next week at Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps! I'm not going to give it away yet, but check back the beginning of next week and you might get a little sneek peak at something I think you're gonna love! Until then, I hope to see you participate in the challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog!  Please be sure to pop over to see all the gorgeous work by my insanely talented teamies!!! Thaniks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Sneak Peeks day three with a new challenge!

Hi everyone and happy weekend!! It's day three of sneak peeks for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, and today we are showing you some sneaks of the new release of Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue!! And this release will make your heart bloom! Annie has created an amazing array of flower girls for us! Oh my gosh, they are so beautiful and amazing to color too! Now since it's Saturday, it's also time for a brand new challenge, and this week we have an awesome sketch for you!

Now I chose to feature not one, but TWO of the new images today ( I can't help it, they're gorgeous!) The first one follows the sketch challenge, and I used the beautiful Peony!

Peony is stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. I used BV0 series to color her, and then brightened it up with V01 on the tips. The sentiment comes with her. DP's  are from Bearly Mine Designs (digital) matted with Bazzill cardstock,  flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the ribbon is May Arts silk.

The second card features Daisy Mae!  I don't know about you, but daisies are one of my favorite flowers. I just think they're such a happy flower! So I just couldn't resist coloring her up for you as well.

Daisy Mae is also stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. She is then cut out with oval Nestabilities and then layered onto petite scalloped oval Nestabilities. The papers which came from my scrap pile are by Jilly Bean, and they're matted with Bazzill cardstock.  A Martha Stewart border punch was used for a little added interest, and I just layered up some old, old flowers and stuck a Wild Orchid Crafts carnation into the center of them. Once again, the wonderful sentiment comes with her.

Please pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Blog to see the rest of the Krafty Girls and Guests take on the awesome sketch, and then visit their blogs to leave some love. Kimmie will be awarding two very lucky random commenters a fabulous prize of three new flower girls!! WOOHOO!!! Then please be sure and join us back here again tomorrow for the big Blog Hop Release! Don't forget that all these fabulous stamps will be available for purchase on Sunday!! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again tomorrow! Hugs!

Kraftin' Kimmie - time to case a Krafty Girl!!

Hi everyone and welcome to a new challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog! Now this weeks Hostess with the Mostest is the amazing Amanda, and she is asking us to CASE a Krafty Girl! How fun!!! So you can pick any card from any Krafty Girl, and "copy and steal everything"! You can use different papers and a different image as it doesn't have to be exactly like it. So for my card, I CASE'd one of Amanda's cards. First, here is her original

Love it, Amanda! She used Kitty Kapers 1 for this adorable card!! Just click HERE to pop over to her blog to see all the details!

 And here is my CASE

For my CASE card, I used one of Emilie's newest releases called Tweets and Twitters 2 ! I am sooo in  love with these birds! It's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers.  The papers are from Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock, and the flourish was cut using my Cricut Expression. Look! I even used my multi-liner around the inside of the Nestability like Amanda did!  LOL!
So that's it for me today. Please be sure to pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog to check out the rest of my teamies amazing creations (such talent!!!!) and then we'd love it if you'd play along! Kraftin' Kimmie - Double Trouble!!

Hi friends!! I LOOOOVE the weekend! LOL! I can guarantee you that I am snoozing away when this posts, and loving every second of it. :-)  It's time for a new challenge at Kraftin Kimmie's Challenge Blog, and this weeks hostess with the mostest is the awesome Cheryl Valadez! Now Cheryl gave us a real chalenge this week asking us to use two Kraftin' Kimmie images on our card or project.  Well I struggled a little bit with this one until I was going through my stamps and laid my eyes on Florence. WOOHOO! I knew immediately what I would do! And here it is

So as I said, I used the adorable Florence from Kraftin' Kimmie's Moonlight Whispers line by Annie Rodrigue. I paired her with one of the birds from Tweets and Twitters 1  by Emilie Goulet. They go perfectly together, don't ya think?  They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. I just extended some of the lines with my Copic Multiliner. The papers are from Nitwit Collections (Summer Splash) matted with Bazzill cardstock and then machine stitched. The clouds are dies from Magnolia and PTI.

Please be sure and visit Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog to see the rest of the gorgeous creations by the design team. Then we'd love it if you'd join us in the challenge. Cheryl used both Super Star and Gadget Girl on her card, and she chose Gadget Girl to be the prize for the lucky winner. Don't forget you have to use a Kraftin' Kimmie image to win!!

Kimmie also has her Frugal Friday specials going on too! Check it out here.  Be sure to grab them while you still can!!

Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Kraftin' Kimmie - it's sketch time!!

Hi everyone!! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! It's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog, and this week our hostess with the mostest is the amazing Pam Varnell! Pam has supplied us with a fabulous sketch to work with for our new challenge. Since Pam used the awesome Coffee Crusader on her card,  that's the prize that's up for grabs this week. Here's my take on the sketch

I used Lulu with teddy from the set Lulu and Friends. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copics. I then cut her out using oval and petite scalloped oval Nesties. The papers are Nitwit Collections and I picked this patter cause they reminded me of jammies.  The ribbon is from Stampin' Up and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The corner pearls were made with a pearl pen.

Please be sure and pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge blog to see the rest of the gorgeous creations by my teammies, and then we'd love it if you'd play along with us!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has some Frugal Friday specials going on too! Go check it out HERE! Kimmie has some awesome stamps on sale for 40% off!!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Pins and Pearls

Hey everyone! Just a really quick post from me today. It's Saturday (well...Friday night when I'm typing this actually) and I'm really hoping I slept well and late!! LOL! I haven't slept well at all the past week, and I could use some extra shut eye.  It's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog, and this week our hostess with the mostest is Ms Sandie Dunne! Sandie has challenged us to use pearls and pins on our projects this week.  Sandie used the Goddess Thaila for her gorgeous card, so that's the prize that's up for grabs for some lucky crafter that uses a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp on her challenge entry.  So using pearls and pins, this is what I came up with for the challenge.

I can't help it, I love making cards for what my grandson and I call "mushy gushy love day". LOL!  I used the adorable Cupid from Lots of Love 2 Set!! I ADORE this set of stamps, and guess what!!! It's one of the Frugal Friday Specials, so it's on sale!!! WHOOT WHOOT!!!   He's stamped onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. I used some dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and some buttons from my stash. The ribbon is May Arts Silk.  We sure would love it if you'd play along with us ths week!

OH!!!! And before I go,  I have some SUPER exciting news! How many of you are big fans of the spectacular artist Annie Rodrigue??!! (can you see me raising my hand going "OH OH OH ME ME ME!!" Kraftin' Kimmie - It's my Birthday! and pics of CHA

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! I do love the weekends! It's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog. Our hostess with the mostest is the Kween of Kraftin' Kimmie herself!  Since yesterday was her birthday, she chose Birthday to be the theme for the new challenge! Yay! So here's what I came up with for this one.

I chose to use this adorable cutie pie Lulu in a bathtub from the set of three Lovely Lulu's.  It comes with three adorable images and awesome sentiments.  It's stamped with Memento ink onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. It's then cut out with Nesties.  The papers are from Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock.

There's lots of machine stitching on this one. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts enhanced with some rose leaves and branches from Martha Stewart punches. The ribbon is May Arts silk. The sentiment was my own that is computer generated and matted with more Bazzill cardstock.

Please be sure to pop over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog to check out all the amazing creations by my teammies, and then we'd love it if you'd play along! And don't forget about the amazing sale that Kimmie has going over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! there are over 100 stamps on sale for either 41% off or $4.10 each!

********************************

Ok, I've got to say I had the most amazing time EVER at CHA!!!! It was a pure delight that I will always remember! To get to meet so many of my unbelievably talented design team sisters, as well as friends that I've had on line for years...well how often does an opportunity like that pop up? So grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!!

I am still pinching myself that I got to meet Lols!!!  She is my DT sis from Papertake Weekly, and was working with Simon Says Stamp. They're lucky to have her!

A pic of Lols, myself, and the amazing Ms Patti Jo! Patti Jo colored almost every one of those tags you see hanging in the booth. What talent!!!!  She was also so gracious to host a class on flower making for all of us! It was awesome and the cards are gorgeous!

And here I am with the oh so sweet and talented Cabio! What a treasure she is!!! I got to spend the entire afternoon coloring next to this wonderful bundle of talent!

Look at these two gorgeous ladies!!! Queen Diana is on the left, and the uber talented Suzan on the right! I was just giddy with delight!!!!

The amazing Jacque, myself, and again, the awesome Suzan. I have been waiting to meet Jacque for what seems like forever! She has been through quite the journey, and my hat goes off to her. She has been so supportive of me, and I was thrilled to finally get to meet this little firecracker that is such a generous and giving soul!

Look at those two stunning girls on the left! How can you be so gorgeous and so damn talented all at once? LMBO!  From left to right, there's Mindy (talk about talent - this girl has got it!!,  Angie - Ditto!! She has her own line of the most adorable images... Little Darlings - Check them out!! (I seriously don't know how she does it all!!) ,  Then there's me, and then the Queen that made every second of this possible, Queen Diana, owner of Magnolia-licious and inventor of Scor-Pal.  There's been a LOT of people that have tried to copy her invention (including Martha Stewart), but nobody can make one as good as the Scor-Pal! This woman has the biggest heart of anyone I know! She's unbelievable!! A true bundle of talent that is all wrapped up in a huge heart with a big pink bow!!

Well this little chicklette needs no introduction! LMBO!  I think everyone knows Suzanne! What a truly amazing woman! A wonderful Mom who truly cares and is always there with advice and assistance when needed. What else can I say?

A picture in front of the gorgeous booth headed up by King Roy and Queen Diana who are both seated.

Hope you enjoyed the pics! I had a truly glorious time and am still basking in the afterglow of meeting so many wonderful friends that I have been chatting with for years! I am one lucky, lucky woman.  Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Spotlight Challenge

Good morning everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I'm a little late with my post today as I tried to type it up last night to post this morning, but we ended up with quite a little lightning show and the electricity just wasn't stable enough. It kept flashing off and on, so I ended up having to turn the computer off and go to bed. The rain sure was nice background noise though! I love to go to sleep listening to falling rain, and that doesn't happen very often in Northern Nevada. So anyway, it's time for a nw challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog, and our fabulous hostess is the amazingly talented Elaine! Elaine gave us a really cool challenge of either highlighting part of an image, or only stamping and using part of an image. Either way is fine. How fun is that? Ok, I've got to tell you that when I ordered Patsy from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, I had some pretty funny intentions for her, cause I LOVE the look on her face!! She just looks, ummmm... curious and confused. heehee...So anyway, I was trying to figure out exactly what situation I wanted to put her in this time where she was "curious and confused", and I decided to make her a mom of a very expressive teenager.  And if you're a mom of a teenager, I can't help but believe you've felt this way at least once in your life. LMBO!  So here is what I made for the challenge.

I've used Patsy for the mom, and Poison for the teenager. They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. I just created the sentiment in MS word an printed it out onto the Cryogen paper. Nesties were used to cut out Patsy and Poison. Papers are Basic Grey matted with Bazzill cardstock, and I just did a bow with twine from PTI and hung a skull and bones charm from it.

Sneak Peek day three and new challenge day! Time for Annie Rodrigue!!

Ok, I know that a lot of you have been waiting impatiently for this day to arrive! Today is sneak peek day number three for the January release over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! And today is the day we show you sneaks of the new images from the one and only Annie Rodrigue! Yep! Moonlight Whispers time! WHOOT WHOOT!  The hostess with the mostest this month is the amazingly talented Nicole, and she has provided us with an awesome sketch for the challenge. And the new stamps from Annie?  GODDESSES!!! WOOHOO!! Nicole used the gorgeous Athena for her card, so that is the prize that is up for grabs this week! So first...the sketch...

And here's my card

For my card, I chose to use the gorgeous Goddess Aphrodite! Is she not amazing?! She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen white paper and then colored with Copic markers. She's then cut out using oval and petite scalloped oval Nesties. The sentiment is from the Goddess Sentiments set.

The DP's are MME matted with Bazzill cardstock. All the panels are machine sitched, and I added some May Arts silk ribbon and bow. I made the pins myself.  As you can see, the inside is decorated to complement the card front.

Please pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog to check out all the stunning creations by my teammies! And then we'd love for you to play along with us! Now don't forget to visit all the Krafty Girls' blogs and leave comments all along the way!  The generous Ms Kimmie is going to select TWO lucky winners, and each of them will get THREE of the Goddesses!!!  WOW!!! So what the heck are you waiting for...go check out all the fabulous images and cards, and leave lots of  love! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back tomorrow for the big blog hop and release of all these fabulous new stamps! Hugs!
