Oh my gosh, I can't believe we are already half way through September already!! You've got a couple more days to join our challenge Not Just Paper!  My card fits right in with that challenge. I used the awesome 5399 Gull-Friends Set. This set is so much fun, and the images fit perfectly into the Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer die set. Just pull up the tab and the picture magically changes. I was inspired by Design Team sister and bestie Dori Mendiola. You can see her card HERE.

Sit Back It's Your Birthday featuring Art Impressions!

 Hello AI Fans!

If you're anything like me, you are making a ton of birthday cards every single year! I love using Art Impressions Laugh Lines Sets for so many of my birthday cards! They are fun and so humorous.  And who doesn't love a humorous birthday card? That's exactly what I did here.  I pulled out #5421 Sit Back Laugh Lines Set and went to work. I stamped him onto Cryogen white paper and then colored him with Copic markers listed below.  Die cut a few balloons, added the fun sentiment and a twine bow with a button and called her done! I must say that I absolute LOVE the new #5853 Christmas Magic Paper Pack from Art Impressions!!! That's what I used for this card! The colors are sooo yummy!!

I've got a fun birthday card to show you today featuring #4382 Giant Cake Set. I made it for one of my BFF's that also has a September Birthday! This is one of my all time favorite Girlfriends images, although I don't think there is a single Girlfriend Set that isn't one of my favorites. LOL!  I stamped the image onto Cryogen white paper and colored it with Copic markers which are listed below. I added some balloon die cuts from my stash and added a cute little bow. I used quite a bit of 3M mounting tape to pop up both the image and the balloons for lots of dimension.

Happy Birthday Bonnie Krebs, owner and artist of Art Impressions Stamps!!

Today is our Queen Bee Bonnie's Birthday!! I know how much she is loved and cherished by all, so I feel VERY fortunate that it's my day to post. Bonnie, I know I speak for all when I tell you that we wish you the very best Birthday and hope your day is filled with love and laughter with friends and family! Thank you so much for enriching all of our lives and blessing us with your amazing talents! God bless you and we love you!!

The card I'm showing you today is one I made for Bonnie (I hope she's received it by now) and for the current challenge we've got going on right here on the AI blog! I used the fabulous #5042 Christmas Bee Set, but I used some Post It Tape to mask out her stocking cap and tried my best to turn it into a Birthday hat. You can see I'm definitely not an artist! LOL!  I also cut my little bee away from the word merry and the bow so I could use it by itself. This helps extend the uses of your stamps because you can always stamp them together again if you want! I love that there's so many stamps in this set you can use for occasions other than Christmas! I loved the little quote I added on the bottom right side of the card. It was in the paper I used and thought it was so fitting for Bonnie!  I stamped my images onto Cryogen white paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored them with Copic markers which are listed below.

Let's go fishin'!! featuring Art Impressions!

My card today features one of Art Impressions Windows to the World stamps. If you're not familiar with this line of stamps, do yourself a favor and check them out HERE! There are soooo many to choose from and they make such an impressive card! They even include the sentiment which is written around the images. Can't beat that! The set I used today is M4588 Pleasures Window. I also used 5408 Shadow Box Window Die,  4900 Reel Great Guy Set for the fish and sentiment, and a couple of the adorable freebies you can get with a qualifying order at Art Impressions! This card also goes along with the current Windows to the World challenge going on over on the AI blog right now! Hope you  join us for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Hope you're having an awesome start to your week! My card today features #4899 Proud Nurse Set from the Work and Play line at Art Impressions! There are so many wonderful stamp sets in this line! Be sure to pop over to Art Impressions and check them out! I stamped her onto Cryogen White paper which has a very subtle hint of glitter in it from Mica that is added to the paper. When I say subtle, I have to hold it up to my Ott light and move it around at different angles to make sure I've got the correct paper. However sometimes it can show up in your pictures if you use a flash.  I just love how the markers take to the paper. I then colored her up with Copic markers which are listed below.

A "bird"day card and the start of a new year!

Hi friends!!

Well it's been quite a while since I've posted!!  To be honest, I have really been enjoying the lack of responsibility to design teams and creating because I HAD to. I've been on design teams for so long that I've forgotten what it's like to just make a card because I wanted to.  So I thought I'd jump on here today and show a card I made using Tim Holtz Bird Crazy set and the coordinating Crazy Things stamp set, along with the dies to cut them out.  The dies make it sooooo easy and convenient, so they are worth every penny paid for them!   If you know me, you know I love whimsical cards, and I absolutely love the way this one turned out.  I made this for my son -in-law Chad. 

The sentiment was created on my computer and I printed it on the cloud. I used various cloud dies and the hillside with trees on it has a separate die for the tree tops. As his birthday was in September, I wanted it to look more like fall. So that's it for me! Saturday is my day for bringing you one of my creations, and today it's all about birthdays and your "age". LOL!  I used #5114 Never Too Old stamp set from the Laugh Lines collection over at Art Impressions. I so love these sets because they come with so many sentiments!  Colored her up with Copics and then cut her out with the AI Rounded Rectangle Double Stitched Dies.

I used #5132 Tag Stitched Dies to cut the sentiment out after stamping it.

Happy Birthday ya ol' geezer!! Featuring Art Impressions

I'm pretty sure we all need a good giggle to help us get through the day right now.  And Birthdays continue on, no matter what is happening.  So I have a fun birthday card for you today that you can give to any gentleman in your life.  I LOVE this sentiment! LOL! I used #4474 Old Guys Club Set from the AI People line. And then I thought this sentiment paired with it so well!! There are so many awesome sentiments in #5278 Dance it Out Laugh Lines!!!  I also used #5133 Flag Double Stitched Dies to enhance the sentiment.  Added a couple Sprinkles and called 'er done!!
