Hope you're having an awesome start to your week! My card today features #4899 Proud Nurse Set from the Work and Play line at Art Impressions! There are so many wonderful stamp sets in this line! Be sure to pop over to Art Impressions and check them out! I stamped her onto Cryogen White paper which has a very subtle hint of glitter in it from Mica that is added to the paper. When I say subtle, I have to hold it up to my Ott light and move it around at different angles to make sure I've got the correct paper. However sometimes it can show up in your pictures if you use a flash.  I just love how the markers take to the paper. I then colored her up with Copic markers which are listed below.

A "bird"day card and the start of a new year!

Hi friends!!

Well it's been quite a while since I've posted!!  To be honest, I have really been enjoying the lack of responsibility to design teams and creating because I HAD to. I've been on design teams for so long that I've forgotten what it's like to just make a card because I wanted to.  So I thought I'd jump on here today and show a card I made using Tim Holtz Bird Crazy set and the coordinating Crazy Things stamp set, along with the dies to cut them out.  The dies make it sooooo easy and convenient, so they are worth every penny paid for them!   If you know me, you know I love whimsical cards, and I absolutely love the way this one turned out.  I made this for my son -in-law Chad. 

The sentiment was created on my computer and I printed it on the cloud. I used various cloud dies and the hillside with trees on it has a separate die for the tree tops. As his birthday was in September, I wanted it to look more like fall. So that's it for me! There are soooo many amazing sentiments in this set that it was super hard to decide which one to use!! Don't you just love it when you have such a wonderful selection of birthday sentiments?? I used #5132 Tag Stitched Dies to cut the sentiment out after stamping it.

Who likes a little Panda-monium on their Birthday??!!  Aren't these just the cutest little panda bears you've ever seen? They are from the Pand-tastic Set  from Art Impressions.  So fun!!!  I stamped them onto Cryogen White paper and colored them with Copic markers and just adore those cute little faces!!

Happy Birthday ya ol' geezer!! Featuring Art Impressions

I'm pretty sure we all need a good giggle to help us get through the day right now.  And Birthdays continue on, no matter what is happening.  So I have a fun birthday card for you today that you can give to any gentleman in your life.  I LOVE this sentiment! LOL! I used #4474 Old Guys Club Set from the AI People line. And then I thought this sentiment paired with it so well!! There are so many awesome sentiments in #5278 Dance it Out Laugh Lines!!!  I also used #5133 Flag Double Stitched Dies to enhance the sentiment.  Added a couple Sprinkles and called 'er done!!

Art Impressions Holiday Mansion Birthday Set

Hello AI Fans!!

Have you seen the brand new Holiday Mansion sets that Art Impressions has released? They are so awesome! Today I'm featuring the HM Birthday set along with the Holiday Mansion. Aren't those the cutest little clowns ever??!!  There are so many fun accessories so you can make that perfect birthday card for that special someone! This card was so easy to put together! I just cut some grassy hills and glued them on top of the heart paper. I backed the house with an oval layer to help it stand out a little from the busy paper. I wanted more than one clown, so I just stamped him a couple times and colored him with different colors. Did the same with the balloons too. I popped the shutters up from the windows just to give even more dimension to the house. It's just so dang cute!!

Birthday Love using Art Impressions

Happy weekend!!! So are you getting some crafty time in this weekend? I'm planning on it, that's for sure! its My card I'm showing you today features #4409 Cupcake BFFs stamp set! I stamped her onto Cryogen White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her up with Copic markers.  The markers I used are listed below. 

I used #5133 Flag Double Stitched Dies. LOVE them! I also used some very old Spellbinders heart and scalloped heart dies.

Art Impressions Challenge 245 and new Twist Tie Sets!

Hello AI Fans!!

It's week two of challenge 245 over at Art Impressions Blog!  The challenge is to use Washi tape!! All the designers are featuring one of the four new Twist Tie Sets! I used the Oldies Twist Tie Set. Aren't they so much fun??  I actually stamp and die cut them on one of the Twist Tie Cards that are available at Art Impressions. It makes making these cards so easy!! Or you can cut an score your own card. The directions are on the back of the Twist Tie packages. After doing that, I stamped the images again onto my Cryogen White paper and colored that image. The copics I used are noted below.  I cut them out (the top part with the die, and the bottom part with my scissors). Then I simply glued the colored image onto the top of the image on the card. Notice on this twist tie, that the die cuts a tab on the left image and a slot for that tab on the right image.  You just slip that tab down into the slot to close this card.  The pair doesn't actually "intertwine" like the other Twist Tie Sets. Isn't it cute? Looks like they're "Do-se-doing"!!
