Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - White on White

Hey everyone! Hope you're having an awesome day! It's time for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog, and this week our hostess with the mostest is our fabulous Alice! Alice has chosen to challenge us with "white on white". So keep it white except for the image. Here's what I came up with...

For my card I used one of the adorable new images from the Lulu and Libby set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Aren't they adorable? I think they look so precious and good right here. But I bet you a dollar that the hand squeezing is starting to get a little excessive....  heehee  They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The shape of the card and that gorgeous lacy border are courstesy of the Silhouette store and I just stitched around the frame. The flourish is from Cheery Lynn Designs and that delicious butterfly is a Marianne Die. The pearls were done with the Viva Decor Pearl Pen which I adore! The ribbon is May Arts silk and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

So that's it for me today. Please be sure and pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous white on white creations the rest of the Krafty Girls and Guests have created, and then we'd really love it if you'd play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Magnolia-licious Blog Hop - It's time for a wedding!

Hi everyone! It's the third Monday in the month, and that means it's blog hop time for the Magnolia-licious Design Team!! This month, the theme is wedding! Pretty appropriate with it being June, don't ya think?  If you've made your way here from my friend and DT sister Cheryl, then you're on the right track. If not,  you can find the complete list of hoppers at Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog. You don't want to miss a single bit!!  Here's what I've come up with for you today.

For my card today, I used #168 Loving Bridal Couple which I don't see in stock right now. If you're interested, please be sure and contact Diana. They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers.  The card itself was cut using the Cameo and I did it with cream on white. It didn't photograph well at all, but it really is pretty in person.  The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts and the glittered heart is from my stash. I added a lot of pearls to the flourish frame using a Viva Decor Pearl Pen.  And lastly that fabulous bow was made using tulle. I love that bow!

The card base was meant to be turned sideways, but I really wanted to use it, so I flipped it around so the image would fit on the center. The disadvantage to that, is that the card won't stand on it's own. *sigh*

Be sure to check out all the fabulous Magnolia images available from Diana at Magnolia-licious!! She has the absolute BEST selection of Magnolia images in North America. And not only does she have an extensive stock of the standard images, she is also the distributor for the Mini Magnolia images as well!  She has the best prices and customer service, and you will not be disappointed!!  Now it's time to hop on to see my friend and DT sister Angie. I know you're gonna love what she's created for you today! Thanks for hopping with us, and hope to see you again soon! Hugs!

Today we're showing peeks for a wonderful set of Lulu images called Lulu and LIbby which are illustrated by the amazing and super talented Cheryl Alger!! Yep! Lulu has a little sister!!! CAAA=UTE!!!!

Isn't this the sweetest image?? It's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The papers are from Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, the lace from my stash, and the pearls were done with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

Papertake Weekly - Three....Two....One!!!

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday! Just a little more than two weeks, and my Grandson JJ will be here to visit! Those of you that have known me for a while know exactly how excited I get about this visit every year. He's our first Grandson and he and my daughter (his mom) lived with us for the first four and a half years of his life. So when they moved away, it was pretty hard. So we bring him out every summer to get a little taste of home again. This year, the visit will be way too short for me, but we'll make the most out of every minute. So you think our house would be noisy now with all of us here, well add one more 8 year old boy on top of the two we've already got, and I start being afraid that OSHA will visit and fine me for unsafe noise levels. LMBO!  So anyway, it's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and this week Dawny is asking us to use three of one thing, two of something else, and one thing of yet another. We're being sponsored by Whiff of Joy!  Here's my take on the challenge this week.

I used #265 Summer Flower Tilda from the Summer Memories Collection. I don't see her in stock right now in the regular size at Magnolia-licious, but Diana does have her in the mini size! She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The frame she's in was cut with the Cameo. The DP is Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill Cardstock. I added a couple layers of lace along with a bow made with some May Arts silk ribbon. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts with some leaves from a Martha Steward punch. The pearls were done using a Viva Decor Pearl pen.

Please be sure to pop over to Papertake Weekly to see what my teamies came up with for you this week, then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play long with us. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon!  Hugs!!

Magnolia-licious Blog Hop Time!!!

Hi everyone! It's time for May's Blog Hop for the Magnolia-licious Design Team! This month it's all about sporty images!  Now if you've arrived here from visiting my very talented friend Angie, then you're on the right track! If you find you've lost your way, you can find a complete list of the hoppers at Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog.  Here is what I've created for you today

I used one of my older images from Winner Takes It All collection, #3024 Cheerleader Tilda. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Copic X-Press It card and then colored with Copic markers. I layered quite a few different reds and earthtones to get her shirt to match the papers. The papers are from Nitwit Collections (puppy love) matted with Bazzill cardstock, and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I've also added a flourish from a Magnolia Doohickey die. Have you checked out all the wonderful dies Diana has in stock over at Magnolia-licious?? She carries Magnolia,  PoppyStamps, Marianne, Cheery Lynn, and Memory Box too!!  So not only can you find the largest selection of Magnolia stamps in North America, but you can also find a glorious selection of dies.

So now it's time to hop on to visit my friend and extremely talented DT Sistah, Barb!    Thanks for hopping with us today!! To find out how you can join us with this challenge and have a chance to win a wonderful prize from Magnolia-licious, please visit Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog. Hugs!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Recylce it!

Hey everyone and happy weekend!! Whoot Whoot!! LOL! I do love my weekends!  So it's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps, and this week our amazing hostess is the one and only Melanie Holtz, and she is challenging us to recycle it! So use anything recycled on your card.  Melanie used Calla Lily on her card, so that's the prize that will be up for grabs if you play along with the challenge and use a Kraftin' Kimmie image on your project!  Here's what I came up with. I actually recycled an angel charm that came off an old angel charm necklace I've had for forever.

Just a really quick post as it's very late and I'm very tired *yawn*  For my card, I used the fabulous new Springtime Lulu from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  She's colored with Copic markers on Cryogen White paper and the papers are Authentique matted with Bazzill cardstock. The flowers are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the lace is from my stash that is also recycled.

Just wanted to address two things...

1.  Kimmie has her Frugal Friday specials up.  There are SIX awesome stamps that are on special until Sunday night for 40 - 50% off their regular price!! How awesome is that! So rush over and get the ones you want before they're gone!!

2. There's something really special happening next week at Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps! I'm not going to give it away yet, but check back the beginning of next week and you might get a little sneek peak at something I think you're gonna love! Until then, I hope to see you participate in the challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog!  Please be sure to pop over to see all the gorgeous work by my insanely talented teamies!!! Thaniks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Sneak Peeks day three with a new challenge!

Hi everyone and happy weekend!! It's day three of sneak peeks for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, and today we are showing you some sneaks of the new release of Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue!! And this release will make your heart bloom! Annie has created an amazing array of flower girls for us! Oh my gosh, they are so beautiful and amazing to color too! Now since it's Saturday, it's also time for a brand new challenge, and this week we have an awesome sketch for you!

Now I chose to feature not one, but TWO of the new images today ( I can't help it, they're gorgeous!) The first one follows the sketch challenge, and I used the beautiful Peony!

Peony is stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. I used BV0 series to color her, and then brightened it up with V01 on the tips. The sentiment comes with her. DP's  are from Bearly Mine Designs (digital) matted with Bazzill cardstock,  flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the ribbon is May Arts silk.

The second card features Daisy Mae!  I don't know about you, but daisies are one of my favorite flowers. I just think they're such a happy flower! So I just couldn't resist coloring her up for you as well.

Daisy Mae is also stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. She is then cut out with oval Nestabilities and then layered onto petite scalloped oval Nestabilities. The papers which came from my scrap pile are by Jilly Bean, and they're matted with Bazzill cardstock.  A Martha Stewart border punch was used for a little added interest, and I just layered up some old, old flowers and stuck a Wild Orchid Crafts carnation into the center of them. Once again, the wonderful sentiment comes with her.

Please pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Blog to see the rest of the Krafty Girls and Guests take on the awesome sketch, and then visit their blogs to leave some love. Kimmie will be awarding two very lucky random commenters a fabulous prize of three new flower girls!! WOOHOO!!! Then please be sure and join us back here again tomorrow for the big Blog Hop Release! Don't forget that all these fabulous stamps will be available for purchase on Sunday!! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again tomorrow! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Time to get krafty!!

Hey everyone! Monday is overwith (yaaaay!) and it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly! This week, Dawny is asking us all to get krafty with kraft cardstock somewhere on your project. We're sponsored this week by the amazing Mary and Andrea over at The Ribbon Girl, so an awesome prize is up for grabs to one lucky person! Here is what I've come up with for you today

I used this adorable sweetie from the Sweet Crazy Love 2012 collection over at Magnolia-licious. She's #240 Tilda with wrapped heart, and she's the sweetest little thing!! I don't see her in stock right now in the regular size, But Diana does have the mini available here.

She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen white paper and then colored with Copic markers. The DP's are from Nitiwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock and kraft paper from PTI. The sentiemnt is also on kraft paper and then cut out with a Spellbinder die.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and that pretty little butterfly is from a trio set of Cheery Lynn Designs dies which was a wonderful gift from my friend Linda! Thank you Linda and see you Friday night! (We're having a Copic Color and Crop til you drop night...can you say FUN??!!!!) The last thing I added were the pearls from a pearl pen. I was totally devastated as the pen dripped onto the bottom of the card as I went to put a single pearl in the bottom right corner next to the flowers. Once it dripped, that was it...there was no getting if off there. So I looked at it and tried to figure out how to cover it up. I wasn't about to ditch the whole card cause everything was stuck down tight and would have been ruined had I tried to take it all apart. So in trying to figure out what I could stick in the corner, I punched some leaves. It covers it mostly, but if you look closely, you can still see the smudge peeking out a little. UGH!  There was something up with that lower right corner as I'd already messed up the punch around the page by pushing down the punch again after already punching the corner. Sometimes, things just don't work out...but we're lucky that we have so many wonderful kinds of embellishments to cover those mistakes up!! LOL!  Uh oh...now I've given up all my mistakes, the person that gets this card will think it's a piece of garbage! LOL! What have I done??!!

So that's it for me today! Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out my DT sister's amazing creations, and then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs !

PaperPlay Challenges - Button up!

Hey everyone! Today is my week for PaperPlay Challenges, and this week the new challenge is "button up"! We're being sponsored by the awesome shop Simon Says Stamp!   Now I have a very large order for some wedding cards, so needed to get a few done. So I took some creative liberties with the challenge and counted her dress buttoning up the back. Sure hope it's ok, Sandie!!

I used a beautiful image by Mo Manning at Digital Pencil and colored it with Copic markers. I've seen people using different sized pearls around their images around blog land, and thought that would look pretty cool with a wedding image like this. What do you think?

There's LOTS of Diamond Stickles and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The bow is made from May Arts silk ribbon and I put another flower in the center of that. The inside is decorated to match, but I was in too big a hurry and just too tired to get a picture of it. Sorry!

So that's it for me today. Please be sure and visit PaperPlay challenges to see the rest of the fabulous creations by my teamies! Then play along for a chance to win!! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Have a wonderful day! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Hey everyone!! Hope you're having a wonderful week so far! So are you full of chocolate?  We dressed up as zombies at work yesterday and it was too fun! Everyone looked awesome! I taught a Copic coloring class last night, so my costume went straight from work to class. Boy did I get some strange looks on my way to class. LMBO!  So anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly, and this week is one of your favorites. It's anything goes! There is an option of adding bling and sparkle if you want. We are being sponsored by Lili of the Valley!! Who doesn't love Lili of the Valley??!!  So anyway, this is what I've come up with.

Now tell me, are you not just totally LOVING the new Magnolia Sweet Christmas Dreams collection? They are in stock and available right now at Magnolia-licious!! Have you ever done business with Diana? Her prices and service are the BEST, and she has both the full size stamps PLUS the mini's!! Be sure to pop over and check it all out! You will be really happy you did!! And this new collection.....Oh my goodness, I love and want each and every one of them!! This little beauty is #3084 Tilda with Hellebores! She's on re-order right now and will be back in the store soon! She's one of those fabulous images that can be used any time of year.  I also used a Magnolia Doohickey die for that awesome flourish, #4 Leaf and Swirl die.

This card went to my oldest daughter for her Birthday. Tilda is stamped onto Cryogen White and colored with Copic markers then cut out with circle and petite scalloped Nestabilities. Those yummy papers were a gift from my friend, Regina, and they're matted with Bazzil cardstock.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the leaves are courtesy of a Martha Stewart punch. Isn't that lace so yummy? It's more of my fabulous find in Illinois, and I just used my Bow Easy to help me make a bow with it. I don't know how I survived without my Bow Easy! LOL!

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and cut out with more Nestabilities, and the layers are machine stitched with my Kenmore sewing machine.  One more view of the card....

So that's it for me today! Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to see all the fabulous creations by my amazingly talented teamies! And then we'd really love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Copic colors:  clothes and boots YG91, 93, 95, 99 with T's to shade the white. Hair - Y32, E31, E33.  Skin: E13, 11, 01, 00.  Sorry, can't remember what I colored the flowers with.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Totally Tilda - use leaves of some kind in your project
