I bought the frame at Michaels and then painted it white using acrylic paint. I then cut the letters out with my Cricut Expression with red Bazzill cardstock with a Black Bazzill cardstock shadow. I used #3070 Sitting Angel Tilda on the left, #3078 Tilda Wants a Hug on the right, and #3081 Tilda With Hanging Heart for top center. I think it's quite simple and kind of plain, but I still like the way it looks and think it would make a cute frame to welcome someone into a kitchen or even a shop. All of the images are currently available right now over at Magnolia-licious!

Magnolia-licious Design Team Sketch Challenge for December
Hi everyone and welcome to the month of December!!! Can you believe how quick this year is going? It just goes faster and faster every year! Anyway, since it's the first of the month, it's time for a new sketch challenge from the Magnolia-licious Design Team. This month, our challenge was chosen by the fabulous Queen Diana, and she asked us to create a frame using Magnolia stamps and words. Unfortunately, I didn't remember the part about it being Winter or Christmas themed, but I hope it helps that I used three stamps from the new Merry Christmas 2010 collection. You can click on the pics to get a better view.
I bought the frame at Michaels and then painted it white using acrylic paint. I then cut the letters out with my Cricut Expression with red Bazzill cardstock with a Black Bazzill cardstock shadow. I think it's quite simple and kind of plain, but I still like the way it looks and think it would make a cute frame to welcome someone into a kitchen or even a shop. All of the images are currently available right now over at Magnolia-licious!
Please be sure and pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to see all the details on how you can enter the challenge for the chance to win a fabulous prize from Magnolia-licious, and to see the GORGEOUS creations the rest of the Design Team came up with! My jaw kept dropping as I looked at each beautiful project! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

I can't think of anything prettier than the color combo of just red and white - clean and crisp. Wonderful welcome for anyone and obviously we are all foolish over Tilda. She must be one spoiled kid by now!!

Sharon, I'm a friend of Janie P's and I really enjoy your cards. My favorites are the Tilda cards. Your frame is great and I love your coloring and your choices of Tilda's. Would love to be able to color like you do - keep it up. Hugs Ruth Ann

Sharon, oh this is just too precious. And you’ve included my fave Tilda (the sitting angel one) from the Xmas Collection too boot. Love that you’ve kept it clean and simple—makes your superb colouration of these adorable Maggies stand out more. This must look good on your wall, but I tell you it would look even better on MY wall…LOL.
