A new chilly Bitten By The Bug challenge - a cute penguin

There's change in the air, and not just the seasons! We're changing things up a little bit over at Bitten By The Bug, so be sure and visit to see what is going on! This week, we received an awesome challenge from Carla! She asked us to use this adorable little penguin from the Joys of the Season cartridge. I saw this paper from Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses line, and knew I would have to make a pink penguin! What do you think? The card base is cut from Bazzil cardstock and the PP is Basic Grey. The ribbons are Offray and the snowflakes and "let it snow" cut are both from the Winter Woodland cartridge. I used a couple dew drops for her eyes and shaded her tummy with copic markers. Added some machine stitching and one more Christmas card is done! YAY!
So be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug to check everything out and see all the wonderful projects the designers have come up with this week. I've been able to take a peek, and you will NOT be disappointed! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see your tomorrow for the Papertake Weekly challenge! HUGS!

What a cute card, Sharon! I also love that Eskimo Kisses paper. Made for a darling card. Matches your blog background too. LOL

I still have the card up that you sent to me with the vintage girl on the front (Peggy's). It's one of my very favorites.

I always enjoy stopping by to see what you've created lately. You are very talented!

Sharon, this is so adorable, love the colours & your beautiful bows. Speaking of snow I was reading a little more about you on Sandi's morning tea interview and found out you live near not too far from the snow. My DH & I departedd Australia to visit Mammoth Mountain a couple of years ago on a skiing holiday, such beautiful scenery. We had a ball.
