Papertake Weekly - Christmas Critters

Hi everyone!! Hope you're enjoying the holidays and that you're staying nice and warm with all the frigid weather! Since it's Tuesday, it's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and this week Dawny is asking for your projects to have a Christmas Critter. Can't wait to see all the adorable critters out there!! We are sponsored by the fabulous folks over at Whiff of Joy!!  I created a set of fun Christmas tags from some print and cut critters I got from the Silhouette store!!

The papers are Handmade Holiday from Simple Stories matted with Bazzill cardstock
The to and from tags were also a print and cut file created with the Silhouette edged with some chalk ink
Added a couple of buttons and called her done. The critters are popped up off the tag for more visual interest.

Please be sure to pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all the amazing projects by my teamies, and then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again tomorrow for the Kraftin' Kimmie sneak peeks for the December release!! Hugs!!

  2. Simply adorable little "critters" ... Since I just purchased my Cameo I bought a lot of images & designs from the Silhouette store while they were having their half off sale. I also bought one of these cute little print & cuts to see how it works. You sure made them turn out wonderfully sweet. Love everything you do with your machine & now I'm watching to see if there's anything I can learn from you as you seem to use your machine for most every crafty thing you do. I have so much to learn !!! I have a couple files I bought from the Cutting Cafe that are so cute but I didn't have my cameo then so just cut them out by hand. I KNOW my machine will cut them but I don't know how to get the file from one place into my cameo files or how to change the type of file. Wish they had an easy book for beginners. Do you just use the regular software that comes with the Cameo or did you upgrade to the Designer software so it's easier to use the SVG cuts? As always your work is gorgeous & full of inspiration.
