Supplies:
Papers: Frigid Fun from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps matted with Bazzill cardstock
all die cuts from Silhouette Store cut with the Cameo (card shape, image frame, and mittens,
twine from PTI
jingle bells from Michaels tied onto the ends of the twine bow. Make sure to double knot your bow cause the weight of the bells will pull the bow out too easily.
white bow is: May Arts silk ribbon
for the snow, I used white liquid applique from Joann's. Just squeeze it on and hit it with your heat gun, and it puffs up like popcorn! It's so fun to watch!!
Some tips: To make the image frame, I made an offset for the frame and used the outside of that offset for the red shadow behind the frame. Then I used the inside part to cut out of my Cryogen white paper to stamp and color the polar bear on as it was larger than the the opening of the image frame. I hope that makes sense...if not, please feel free to ask me so I can make it clearer. I then used double sided 3m tape to pop the frame up off the image panel, avoiding the areas where there was liquid applique.
For the mittens by Lori Whitlock, I cut them out and then punched small holes in the cuff end so I could string them together with twine.
If you cut out an image with intricate little pieces, (such as the penguin above with the ends of his scarf), it helps to leave a small border around the image when you cut it out.
