Magnolia-licious Blog Easter Bunny Hop!!

Hi everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and that you're well rested up and ready to hop around like the Easter Bunny! It's the third Monday of the month, and that means it's time for the Magnolia-licious Design Team Blog Hop! This month our theme is The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town, and we're supposed to make projects that can hold Easter Eggs and/or treats. Now you should have arrived here from my talented friend and Design Team Sister, Barb. If not, then you'll want to start at the Magnolia-licious Highlights Blog so you don't miss a thing!

My project today was a lot of fun to make. I started with this beautiful image #363 Tilda and her Bunny from Magnolia-licious. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cyrogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers and cut out with circle Nestabilities. I kept the card very simple as I wanted all the focus on this beautiful Magnolia image. The papers are Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock. The layers are machine stitched, and the image layer is popped up, then the fence is double popped.

The fence and flourish are both Magnolia Doohickey Dies which I love and use all the time. If you haven't been by to see the awesome selection of dies available at Magnolia-licious, then you're missing out! Diana has an awesome selection with amazing service and prices!!!  Next up is the treat box which was cut with the Cricut Expression and the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge. It was pretty hard to get a good pic of it with everything in focus.

It's sooooo stinkin' CUTE!!! I'm dying that I don't have a little girl to give this to on Easter (but I think I have a couple big girls that will love it)! I decorated it with paper from Nitwit Collections, the Magnolia Doohickey fence die, and some grass that was cut with the Expression and Zoo Balloo cartridge.

I used an old Basic Grey brad for the doorknob, and again used #363 Tilda with her Easter Bunny.

So that's it for me today. It's time to head over to see my friend Mindy, and the gorgeous creation she came up with for your pleasure today. Then please hop over to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to see how you can play along for a fantastic prize from Magnolia-licious. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon. Hugs!

  9. Your card is so special Sharon - I do like the fact that you did not make your card with so many embellishments. I think it is perfect as it is and your design does draw the eye to the center where Tilda is colored so beautifully. I like the stronger colors. What a wonderful box you have made. I can see it full of those little furry chicks in some pretty fake grass. And one chocolate egg. You are so talented. And you sure must be organized!!

  24. Sharon, you're rocking this hop with these adorable pieces! First, let me say that your coloring and color choices are fantastic! Your card is wonderfully done with the little fence and the grass and Tilda with her bunny, but your box is smashing! I just sold my Cricut - which I never used and had so few cartridges with it - so I always admire how well you use yours in your crafting. The box is an absolute DEEEEE-light! I'm sure there's a grandchild or two who would love to receive this gorgeous set!!!! Hugs...Barb <><
