Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday! Hope you're having a fabulous start to your week! It's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and we're sponsored by The Stamp Fairy. Dawny is asking us to use a die cut and something cute. The Stamp Fairy was nice enough to offer the designers our "something cute" by offering one of their adorable images. I chose to work with this precious image Peapod as she stole my heart.
She's a digital image, so I printed her off and clored her with Copic markers. She's then fussy cut out and popped up. The DP is Nitwits Bumbleberry matted with Bazzill cardstock. I made a frame using a Martha Stewart punch around the page set which is popped up from the card base.
Placed behind her is a mini doily made with a Magnolia Doohickey die. I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts framed with some branches from another Martha Stewart punch. That pretty little butterfly was a gift from a friend (Thank you Linda!!). It's a miniature butterfly die from Cheery Lynn Designs, and the bow was made using May Arts silk ribbon.
The last thing I added were some cream pearls from a pearl pen. The inside is decorated to match the card front. Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all my amazingly talented teamies gorgeous creations, and then we'd really love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
What a "SWEET" pea & how perfect she is colored. Wish I could find a "Baby Bean" ... My grand daughter is going to have a baby & she always calls him her little "bean".
ReplyDeleteWonderful papers to make her pop off the page & your bows are always the most gorgeous things.
Have a super day Sharon & thanks for sharing this precious little creation.
Hugs, Janie

That's what my husband calls me -"sweet pea". Your design work is wonderful Sharon, I am trying to peek inside but I can't!!! Is this pea lonely? Every pod needs two peas, you know what they say! Cute, cute card and I love the colors - your coloring is always so darn good.
