Do YOU know what day it is??? It’s Krafty RELEASE Day and it’s our FIRST release of the year!! Today Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is kicking off 2012 by releasing their new JANUARY stamps and there’s SO much gorgeousness to SEE!!

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of FUN new stamps for you to get inky with! We’ve got something for everyone!! There is a fun new SET introducing a sweet little character by Cheryl Alger for the little ladies in your life!! It’s called LOVELY LULU! We also have TWO fantastic sets of purrrr-fect images from Emilie Goulet called KITTY KAPERS 1 and KITTY KAPERS 2!!! And of course we have an amazing new set of six GORGEOUS GODDESSES stamps from Annie Rodrigue! PLUS we are also releasing a sassy coordinating set of GODDESS SENTIMENTS!!

You will get to see most of the new images today as you sit back and enjoy our JANUARY Krafty Hop! If you want to start from the beginning, just head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog! As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of these incredible stamps from the new release!! And when you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie shop, because ALL the new images are NOW available! So if you're on the right track,  you should have arrived here from the awesomely talented Michele!

And of course, as always, we have our Gimme Kimmies Kits available for those of you who ‘need it all’!! (You’ve been buying presents for everyone else all month long….don’t you think it’s time to reward your krafty self a little bit??!! ) The stamps are grouped together by artist and are available at a discount, but only for a limited time!!

For the hop toay, I've actually created two cards for you. The first one features one of the adorable images from the LOVELY LULU SET.

This was a really fun card to make. I am soooo in love with this entire LOVELY LULU set!!  She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen white paper and then colored with Copic markers. The grass is just hand colored in with Copics. She is then cut out with Nesties and popped up from the card base. The papers are from an old DCWV stack called Whimsy matted with Bazzill cardstock.

The sentiment comes with the set of Lulu's as well. The clouds and flowers were cut with the Cricut Expression from the Create a Critter cartridge. They're edged with chalk ink to help define the cut. The bow is made with May Arts Silk Ribbon and The Bow Easy, centered with a button from my stash.  The inside is decorated to coordinate with the card front.  Markers used:
clothes: B01, 02, 04, 06;  YG 11, 13, 17, 67
skin: E13, 11, 01, 00
birds: Y32, 35, 58
I used a bunch of different shades of green to draw in the grass. The grass effect is one I will be teaching in a card class coming up.

My second card features the GORGEOUS Athena!! I LOVE her and she was awesome to color!

Athena is stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and the colored with Copics. I'm sorry, I thought I kept track of the markers I used, but I guess I didn't.  I will tell you I know I used YG61, 63. I used grays on the armor for the silver, and Y26, 28 for the gold. Skin is E13, 11, 01, 00, and her hair is E97, 99, and 17.

The papers are Basic Grey matted with Bazzill cardstock. I used some lace from my stash and the bow if made with May Arts silk ribbon and The Bow Easy. All panels are machine stitched.  The awesome sentiment is from the Goddess Sentiments set.

And of course the inside is decorated to complement the card front. Now it's time to head over to see the lovely and talented Diana! Thanks so much for joining us in our blog hop today, and I hope you're having as much fun as we are! When you're all done, you can head straight over to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to purchase your "must have" stamps! If you're anything like me,  it will be all of them! LOL! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Hugs!

  10. You certainly have the gift of paper personality - it's like you pick the perfect paper to go with the personality of the image you use. I think Nevada is a long way for me to drive to get to one of your classes. I love the way you did your grass - and of course your coloring is out of this world. Both cards are wonderful Sharon!!
