Good morning everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I'm a little late with my post today as I tried to type it up last night to post this morning, but we ended up with quite a little lightning show and the electricity just wasn't stable enough. It kept flashing off and on, so I ended up having to turn the computer off and go to bed. The rain sure was nice background noise though! I love to go to sleep listening to falling rain, and that doesn't happen very often in Northern Nevada. So anyway, it's time for a nw challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog, and our fabulous hostess is the amazingly talented Elaine! Elaine gave us a really cool challenge of either highlighting part of an image, or only stamping and using part of an image. Either way is fine. How fun is that? Ok, I've got to tell you that when I ordered Patsy from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, I had some pretty funny intentions for her, cause I LOVE the look on her face!! She just looks, ummmm... curious and confused. heehee...So anyway, I was trying to figure out exactly what situation I wanted to put her in this time where she was "curious and confused", and I decided to make her a mom of a very expressive teenager. And if you're a mom of a teenager, I can't help but believe you've felt this way at least once in your life. LMBO! So here is what I made for the challenge.
I've used Patsy for the mom, and Poison for the teenager. They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. I just created the sentiment in MS word an printed it out onto the Cryogen paper. Nesties were used to cut out Patsy and Poison. Papers are Basic Grey matted with Bazzill cardstock, and I just did a bow with twine from PTI and hung a skull and bones charm from it.
Please be sure to pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge blog to see all the gorgeous cards made by my Krafy Girl's teamies, and then we'd really love it if you'd join us in the challenge with any image from Kraftin' Kimmie for a chance to win Roxy (the stamp featured on Elaine's fabulous card!) Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon!! Hugs!
