Magnolia-licious DT challenge - fall colors or back to school

Hi everyone! There's a few days left for you to enter the Magnolia-licious Design Team Challenge over at Magnolia-licious Highlites! It's to make either a fall or back to school project using the rich colors of fall.  This is what I came up with.


I used the Fall Background from the 2008 Fall Collection, Tilda with wood basket from the 2008 Winter Collection, and #642 Heart fence which I fussy cut twice and popped it up for dimension. The background and Tilda are not in stock at Magnolia-licious right now. If you're interested, please talk to Diana and I know she'll do her best to try and help you. The images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It card and then colored with Copic markers.  The papers are from Nitwit Collections, and I used a small flower punch centered with my Pearl Pen. The swirl die is from Cheery Lynn Designs.


Added a bow made with some silk ribbon and a Maple leaf charm and called her done! We'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us for the challenge!     I LOVE to wake up, turn my laptop on & see a beautiful card from you. MAKES my day !!! This is just sweet ! Such a great fall card & I absolutely LOVE those flowers you made with the Pearl Pens. When I saw them I thought darn Sharon isn't using her peral pen she's using flat back pearls. Then I kept reading & was soooooo happy to see that they look so wonderful. Some sweet lady sent me some & I haven't felt well enough to give them a try. now I can't wait to use them !!! I'm off to the pain Dr this morning for an Epidural so should be back to crafting hopefully right away.

    Sharon, I just luv autumn colours. Your card is gorgeous in those colours. Haven't seen this adorable Tilda for quite a while--first time this season I think. Beautiful quilted background.

    How in the world did I miss this fabulous card??? I love it! The quilted dp is so gorgeously fall and the little picket fence with the autumn flowers is the perfect touch! Love the swirl too, not too much, not too little! And Tilda, so beautifully colored and surrounded with swirling leaves - the picture of autumn personified!! What a terrific card...hugs...Barb
