Magnolia-licious Summertime Bash Blog Hop!!

Hi everyone and welcome to the Magnolia-licious Summertime Bash Blog Hop!! I hope you're ready for lots of fun and wonderful inspiration! Both the Magnolia-licious Design Team and the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Design Team have come together to participate in this fabulous blog hop! I am the first stop on the hop today, so you're in the right place. If you get lost along the way, please visit Magnolia-licious Highlites blog to help get you back on track. Each stop along the hop with have a letter for you. Hop along to every blog to get all the letters, then unscramble them to form a phrase for a chance to win an amazing prize!! Now for my project. There are three choices for this blog hop: Summer Picnic Fun, Beach Blanket Party, or Fishing the Day Away!  I went for the Summer Picnic Fun, and wanted to highlight a fun summer picnic day at the park.


I went with a stair step card and used LOTS of Magnolia images... #259 Kneeling Tilda, #3019 Tilda playing hopscotch, #3029 Tilda in star dress, #402 Rufus the dog, #421 sun, #428 Tree with carved heart,  and I can't find the blanket or the park bench in stock right now, but they are Magnolia images. If you're interested,  please just ask Diana about them. All the images are colored with Copic markers and fussy cut to attach to the card. The sun is attached with a strip of acetate so it would appear to be free standing above all the images.


I added absolutely nothing else as I thought the card was plenty busy enough without adding more to the mix.  Now if you'd like the chance to win a $10.00 gift certificate to Magnolia-licious, just leave a comment on this post before midnight Friday.  I'll pull the winner as soon as I can after that.

    WOW girlie, this is amazing and so much work too! I love all the bright colors and that sweet little Tilda in red, white and blue! Eeek! I was wondering how you got the sun to stay up there...great idea using the acetate! HUGS!
