Papertake Weekly - Anything goes PLUS a brand new sponsor!

Well....I'm still working on getting back into the swing of things. My sincerest apologies that I haven't visited you!!!  I hope I'll be by to see you within the next couple of days. Since the kids left, I've been trying to get caught up with some DT projects, including doing some things for CHA coming up at the end of the month.  So please be patient with me as I work my way back to my norm.  With it being Tuesday, it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly,  and this week it's "anything goes" with an option of using lace!! AAAAAANNNNND....we have a new sponsor, Lili of the Valley!!!  We're all so excited! I just wish I could enter to win! LOL!


To celebrate our first sponsorship, I used this adorable image called "Time for a Cuppa". I love it!!! It's colored with Copic markers and cut out using Nesties. I decided to use the optional lace, but made it out of paper with a Martha Stewart border punch. The papers are from Nitwit Colelctions and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts with some added Stickles around the edges.


Colors for Copic markers are: (yes...I actually wrote them down!!)
R11, 12, 14, 17
YG21, 23, 25
face: E02, 01, and 000
hair: E21, 25
T1, T2 for shading on the white

    I've tried ALLLL day to post a comment on your beautiful card & keep getting side tracked ... Ever have days like that? Sharon this is such an adorable card. I LOVE the image & your coloring is just so wonderful !!! LOVE the color choice, the Nitwit papers & those flowers all blinged up. You have such a knack for taking a simple black & white stamp & turning it into a wonderful creation !!! Also loved the bonus of the Copic colors used... AAA+

    THIS LITTLE MAMA caught my eye.The colors and the COLORING blew me away. I just love these little LOTV'S !!! Your embeliishments are so gorgeous hun as ALWAYS!!!! Sharon i ned sewing classes from you lol!!!
    One question when you sew around the card.Do you stop to the end of each corner or you just keep going??? By the looks of it you keep going because it's a perfect line and your not hidding the corners like me BAAAHAAAAAAA!!!! LOVE YA!!,RubyM:)
