Another Monday bites the dust! I love it once I get Monday conquered at work. And that means that tonight is Bachelor night! oooooooo....what's gonna happen?? It shows previews of Allie calling him to tell him she made the wrong choice. Is he going to let her back in or tell her she made her bed, so now she can lay (lie?) in it! I can see English teachers cringing everywhere! LOL! I can't wait to see what happens!!! Ok, enough about cutie patootie Jake! It's time for a new Papertake Weekly challenge! And this week, I showed just how clueless I really am! LOL! So I see the challenge for this week, and it says Check this out! So in my brainless head, I thought...Oh...Dawny wants us to look at the sponsor. I'm such a dweeb! LOL! I was supposed to use something checked! UGH! Anyway, if you click on the pic, you can see a VERY VERY TEENY TINY check on the large piece of background paper! LOL! Works for me since I didn't have time to do a redo! :) So this week, we're being sponsored by the Stitchy Stamp Store, and they so graciously gave the DT some images to play with. When I saw this adorable little darling, I knew I HAD to have her! Wouldn't she have looked way cute in little checkered bloomers too?? :)
So I printed her up and colored her with Copic markers, then cut around her with my Nesties. The sentiment is one I came up with to go with the image and I just printed it out on the computer. Her bloomers were paper pieced with some digi paper. Be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly and "CHECK" out the rest of the talented DT's projects! What a little sweetie she is!!! Don't you hate it when you miss one key factor on the design you're doing. I've done that and had to start over. I believe that is a perfect check in the background. It's another wonderfully designed card and image. You always do such a beautiful job.
