Happy 92nd Birthday Mom Robbie featuring Art Impressions Giant Cake Set

Hello! Here's another card that was featured over on the Art Impressions blog with a host of other very talented artists! It was fun revisiting my design team days with this amazing company! My card today is one I made to celebrate my mom in law Robbie's 92nd birthday!!! She is such an amazing woman and reminds me so very much of my own mom that I lost at the young age of 31. I was so very happy we got to go see her and celebrate the day with her!  For my card, I used Art Impressions #4382 Giant Cake Set. I used Copic markers to color up this amazing image!!

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today and hope to see you again soon!

Art Impressions cards being featured on their blog

Hello!

OMG! I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted on here! During the month of Setptember, one of the amazing Art Impressions Design Team (Jil) is taking some time off.  With that, Art Impressions reached out to a group of us and asked us if we'd like to have some cards featured on their blog during Jil's absence. Oh my gosh, I jumped at the chance.  As much as I like not having all the deadlines and responsibilities of being on a design team, I truly miss it sometimes! So watch for some posts throughout the month of September featuring the amazing Art Impressions products!  First up is Cliff which is from the Golden Oldies Line from Art Impressions.  Girlfriends will always be my favorite line, but Golden Oldies will always be second!! The sentiment I used is from Art Impressions Birthday Laugh Lines

Please be sure and visit the Art Impressions Blog to check out all the other wonderful artists that are joining in on this fun opportunity!! Thanks so much for stopping by and until next time, be safe and stay crafty!!

A "bird"day card and the start of a new year!

Hi friends!!

Well it's been quite a while since I've posted!!  To be honest, I have really been enjoying the lack of responsibility to design teams and creating because I HAD to. I've been on design teams for so long that I've forgotten what it's like to just make a card because I wanted to.  So I thought I'd jump on here today and show a card I made using Tim Holtz Bird Crazy set and the coordinating Crazy Things stamp set, along with the dies to cut them out.  The dies make it sooooo easy and convenient, so they are worth every penny paid for them!   If you know me, you know I love whimsical cards, and I absolutely love the way this one turned out.  I made this for my son -in-law Chad.

The sentiment was created on my computer and I printed it on the cloud. I used various cloud dies and the hillside with trees on it has a separate die for the tree tops. As his birthday was in September, I wanted it to look more like fall. So that's it for me! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay happy, healthy, and have fun crafting!!

hugs!
