Your pace or mine? Bitten By The Bug Challenge

This week over at Bitten By The Bug, Regina asked us to use the snail from the Walk In My Garden cartridge. I'm tying to work on my Valentines Day cards, so I was trying to figure a way I could turn this cute little snail into a love card. I figured I'd do it in the sentiment. On the inside, the card says "YOUR PACE OR MINE?". I love playing with words!
The pattern paper is some very yummy Basic Grey, and the cardstock is Bazzill. I cut the snail out and then shadowed it with black cardstock. The mat it's on was cut from the StoryBook cartridge and shadowed as well.

I punched a hole in her antennae with my crop a dile and added some pretty brads from Basic Grey that go with the paper. For her eye, I used a green dew drop. I used green in honor of my Dad's pretty green eyes.

I added a pink satin ribbon bow with a prima flower in the middle. That little brad in the Prima flower is also Basic Grey. The frame is popped up off the card, and the snail is popped up off the frame. (yep - I like dimension) :)
Thanks for dropping by to visit me today! I sure appreciate you coming to see me, and please come back again soon! Also, do yourself a favor and pop over to Bitten By The Bug to see the rest of the designers projects with this little snail. Have a great day! Hugs!!
